07 Dodge with 6.7 cummins
Was thinking about doing the EGR and DPF deletes on my truck. I keep getting the "perform service" on my overhead display and i'm tired of having to take a long drive to clear out the DPF. Has anyone done these upgrades on their truck and if so which kits did you use and are you happy with your decision to do so?
Thanks
Travis

Gonna be hard to do these days. The EPA put the crunch on the companies that were doing the programmers. Not impossible but definitely harder. I wanna do mine too. Expect 3-4 mpg better and way better power and throttle response.

I keep looking at the kits, the price tag on them is not cheap but if I will get a true 3-4 mpg more I would be happy. I just don't want to have to take it in to get the dpf cleaned or changed out. I also don't want to have a hassle with passing emissions. most of the kits I have seen are complete with tuner for around $1200

I honestly like how the truck runs, i'm just trying to avoid any potential problems in the future. I probably wouldn't even mess with the stock setup on the computer other than telling it that the EGR and DPF are not there anymore.

The tuners are hard to get now that will support the deletes. It's not like it was a year and a half or two years ago. I'm planning on using EFI Live to do mine

the EGR isn't that bad on a 6.7,most guy's don't bother on them, powerstrokes are a different story,I'd grab a dpf delete while I can and install that,,
