Yesterday was a good example of what happens when you turn your kids loose on the i pad —- unlike me —they can make an iPad talk. So its more or less back to normal.

Here is the actual Cosworth motor that daughter Sam was enthusing over last week !!!!!!
SOOOOO TECH TEAM—— WHERE‘S THE PROBLEM?????????
theres even Gordon Murrays name included ???
My cosworth had 400 hp in Le Mans trim——- the Maccy Larren has 725 hp in road trim—- one would have to tread very softly on the loud pedal when going out for a spin. 0-60=2.??????
Weight 76 kilos top speeds are estimated at 220.??????
it is the most driver centric supercar In the world .
Will be at the BREAKFAST CLUB ON SUNDAY THE 7TH AT GOODWOOD TO WARD OFF THE SLINGS AND ARROWS OF ALL ATTACKERS.
EEEh Lad you've gone and done it again. McLaren has nothing to do with this. Its the GORDON MURRAY AUTOMOTIVE T.50. I'll ring Gordon and tell him you will be round to apologise.

Does that pipe on the top cap seal either side of the lifting ring and have a hole drilled up from underneath?

Cosworth crew put all sorts of Gizmo‘s on the drive. I had a pressure GUAGE on the gearcase and a temperature dial.
They sorted the box out —- it ran the full seven hours in Parker —-reason was , after spending twenty minutes trying to change the leg —- Keith made the decision to just run until we reached the end or it broke . Well it never missed a beat . When they dismantled the foot , was discovered to be still in perfect condition . Had a beautifully engineered set of brakes [ which i never once used , but it made a good talking point].

I love looking at all these old pictures

I wish boat racing was what It was in the 70's and 80's

    the Golden period for outboards.

Aint that the truth ?????? Wasn’t just the boats, it was the people that ran them . I am still friends with the people i raced with fifty years ago. Well, those that are still breathing anyway.

Ok. You make the arrangements — i will go and pay him a visit ?
did he ever work for Duckworth and co ???????? Seems like a lot of the Cosworth guys went out into the world and made a name for themselves —-good example is Paul at ILMOOR AND BROAD ????
I left the gate open for you —- see if you can use it !!!!!!!!!

Quiet weekend , had a flue jab on Saturday morning which left me with an aching arm and a feeling of being drunk or high— whichever feels the lousiest. I have never had a flue jab in my life before but Jill said she had a “feeling” and arranged it for 8-30 am saturday . By 9-30 it was me that had the feeling and it wasn’t good . Sh-tty feeling lasted all weekend .
Woke up this morning all bright eyed and bushy tailed —- just well pissed off that i had lost a weekend somewhere along the way.
Christian Toll. [ he renovates famous offshore boats Like DRY MARTINI—KEIKHAEFER 1V and KAAMA ] told me he is going to Tavares for the old farts dinner . He is taking his dad IAN TOLL along with him. Then taking the Saturday noon plane to KEY WEST to see the race down there .
Thought i might be able to do something along those lines , but it is not to be . So maybe next year when the doom, gloom and covid have finally pissed off into the long distance .
Monday morning and i have a workshop to tidy and clean up so i can start procedures once again — at my age —stay inactive for too long and rigor mortis sets in .
