Bloody Thursday again —second one in September . Winters a coming !!!!!!!!!!
store here called RANGE— had some really nice patio seats and sofas — bit bloody pricey , so i thought i would take a wander in there and see if i could do a deal— now this is Wednesday 8th September . So i meander upstairs where its total mayhem. Not a seat or sofa in sight — i ask where the patio furniture has been moved to ???????? I’m told its all back in the warehouse to make room for THE CHRISTMAS SHOW ????????? Just how damned stupid is that ???
Three weeks to go in September ——October ——November ——December —- sixteen feckin weeks !!!
At that stupid rate , Easter eggs should be on sale in October —- has the world gone totally bonkers ?????

...the lack of "corporate" in-store retail management & salespeople knowledge has always made me shake my head in disbelief. we are talking just plain common sense. there is none. have had family members in it for 30 plus years. its a losing business model. always will be, in these modern times. back in the 40's, 50's & 60's, etc. was a different story...

China realized a while back the online selling has skipped a whole middle class of infrastructure.
One of my relatives did a 5 year job ( marketing research) with one of the top retailers in Bejing, the owner is well connected with the CCP.
He told me a few years back alibaba will be shrunk and Jack Ma pushed aside.
It has created one rich bloke and a huge number of low paid workers.
Hence a uni student leaving school says to his mate, ' So are you going to be putting it in the box or delivering it"

Jack Ma officially stepped down as an executive chairman of the Alibaba e-commerce empire on his 55th birthday, 10 September 2019.
In 2020, Jack Ma was the Richest Man in China, with a fortune of 65.6 billion.

Today is one of the world’s richest man's birthday. What do men like Jack Ma receive on their birthdays? —maybe Patio Furniture for one of his residences.

this Jack has just the one residence —— all paid for —- no mortgage —-with a decent gazebo that works and a new table and chairs set . I do not owe anyone anything. Can afford the next meal and the TRUSTY LEXUS has a few miles left in her . I’m in rude health —- workshop is complete and i have a couple of decent concepts on the go . Life is not too shabby at the moment . 90th birthday coming up afore long , so have lots to look forward too.

What is Jackie doing carrying Bob, and helping the OMC team at Parker?

I thought Jackie was a dedicated Mercury guy. Surely, Willabee is not aware of this.
Or it could be his Hollywood movie double.
