Ongoing issues with my landlord, Fuji—-

The Mustang is a 1966 that I bought new in February 1966–

My buddy Davis calls it the REDBIRD—wonder why?

A friend of mine and Pruett’s —Kathy Flo Henderson, was given a powder blue Mustang fastback, with “Four on the floor” for her eighteenth birthday.
SHE KEPT IT FOR NEAR FIFTY YEARS. Was only last year she told me she had sold it , she moved to Colorado—somewhere near to you in summer Gene !!!

Spent yesterday morning doing the “nitty-Gritty” bits of the three MERT’s. Steering wheels are always a pain in the Asse . Decided to get clever and put in steering wires . Took me hours with very little progress .
Graphics can make or break a concept . I tried hand painting —— failed miserably — but I’ve got ambition . Do have my son in law —Little Jeff coming to see if he can do anything for me .
I can buy letters and numbers off the shelf— but not the AUTHENTIC graphics i need to make the MERT outstanding, it is kinda important i get this right .

Managed the three steering wheels and installed the cables — see what the day brings.

What with moving and all that jazz—- never got around To buying the expensive , exotic but never quite made it sweet peas we usaolly order from unwind or thompsons.
picked up a couple of pots for a fiver at the car boot sale .
been picking fifty blooms a day with twelve inch stems and a scent Chanel would die for !
At least i know where to get next years sweet peas from.

I know i know, its got sod all to do with finding a wing in a barn in Schenectady—- get over yourself, live with it.

Just when i thought we had all the arrangements in place for my 90th birthday bash, the owners of THE AVISFORD PARK HILTON, decide to put the damned place on the market [ a cool 10.5 million pounds sterling] .
This kinda pisses me off a tad, they took a 10 percent ,non refundable deposit just for booking the place . Then gaily put the place on the market without as much as a thats ok with you ??you want your deposit back and siss on you pister attitude .
Cobblers—- lets just hire the village hall —- farty Egg sandwiches —tea and biscuits and i can save myself four or five grand . Way to go !!!!!!!!

incidentally , steering wheels are from an eight day chiming clock mechanism that i picked up at the scrapyard for a fiver . Managed to get seven wheels and steering columns out of one clock. All i had to do was grind the teeth off’n the cogs and “VOILA”— we have lift off.
Little Jeff [ my son in law married to Boo] came by last night —- managed to con him into doing the graphics—— now thats a great result—- he’s a professional.
Watch this space —- the end is nigh.
