Cooking with gas today— two interruptions both paid me money for stuff i needed to get rid of — can’t be bad .
There is light at the other end, might just get the first “MERT” finished this week .
With a downhill run and a tail wind you never know, I just might get the first concept out of the new SUPERSHED produced.

Sick to my tits of all this BLM nonsense ——Taking the knee ??????? When a dumb arse footballer can earn more in a week than the Eton educated prime minister does in a year my simple logic tells me somethings out of sync. Am i wrong ?????????
A girl plays a good game of tennis —- has a stroke of good fortune — plays her socks off and gets into the fourth round at Wimbledon. Instant £181,000 . Ten times more than the girl earned in her entire career ??????????? Why do i think there’s a sense of imbalance here ?????
Can anyone tell me where the PRIVELIDGED WHITE person comes into this. I certainly never was one of those — in fact i never met one .
Hamilton claims he was racially abused —- didn’t stop him being paid 60 million a year and amassing a 260 million fortune . How come i am a privileged white, yet got only what i earned ?? he claims he has been abused yet still managed to coin a fortune . Just stop whining and whinging —— get off the BLM bandwagon —- take a hike instead of a knee .
If you represent your country , stand proud , salute the flag be glad you were chosen — do not abuse the privilege.
Just a tad pissed off with the holier than thou antics of some of my country’s representatives .

You know what—- I’m getting bloody good at gearcases. Was worried about the MERT motors. Single pipe or the twin STACKER version —— or the three stacker version that never was ??????
In the end I’ve topped up doing all three —- what a DINGLEBERRY!!!!!!!
One will be mounted in an all aluminium trailer with “HIDE ME FROM THE PUBLIC AND OMC PRYING EYES” sides.and a simple single pipe. That will be closest to the one that actually ran 136 mph.
Next on a half decent plinth that will suit the MERT. With two stackers
haven’t made up my mind about the three stacker that never was —- play it by ear which is what i usually do .
My workshop is where i hide when things are bothering me or I’m sad or unhappy. I seem to do my best work when tragedy rears it’s damned head.
Mark’s wife Vicky was a lovely person raised three kids and has grandchildren. She succumbed to Altzheimers[Dementure if you like] call it what you will, losing her was hard.
Afraid i didn’t handle it well . I am the PATRIARCH—— im supposed to be able to handle anything—- thats all very well on paper and in books. In real life, its not like that at all. I find i am as soft as grease and vulnerable—- so i hide in SUPERSHED and create CONCEPTS.

Ok so its raining again , what’s new.??? Well for a start i woke up again head full of ideas —- just wish i had the ability to bring about the thoughts. If i i could do that, then i really would be a clever ageing [old] sod !!!!!
been cogitating on how to do stacks on a midget motor —- not easily thats for sure —- but i have ambition. Need to spin up five of them on the lathe, then figure out just how to mount them on a straight six tiny motor . No worries, I’ll get there just have a little faith.
Let you know how i fare . If. It’s any good I’ll show you a piccy —- if its not —- tough !!!!!!

Have a few doubts about the firebox that the pipes are hung on—- a bit 50/50 at the mo. I’ll stew on ‘em for a while . Should finish the “THREE PIPER “ before close of play . I mean the stacks not the whole motor. Busy day,

WONT BE A LOT GOING ON TODAY—- IM OFF TO THE HOSPITAL TO HAVE ME ANNUAL EYE TEST.
One where they put the sting drops in telling you it’ll only sting for a minute , when they know damn well its at least ten. Do all the miserable testing —puffing into your eyes etc.
Walk out into a grey and miserable day you can only squint at through screwed up eyes . Even a candle seems like a laser. Jolly hockey sticks—— onwards and upwards.

What's the power source? Photo of switches shows only 2 rails. Lionel / USA has 3? Very old vintage Lionel USA stuff even has an appraisal pricing book collectors can buy. I still have a cast aluminum 1942 Lionel 6 wheel freight engine and coal tender. Worth several thousand dollars.

WHOA!!!!! SLOW DOWN THERE WATER ZEE—— I should have shown you the KEY before i i sent you off in a TIZWAS.
ITS A CLOCKWORK “MECCANO HORNBY LIVERPOOL”. Enough track to reach Edinburgh and back. It’s O guage which was for five year old kids not 70+ year old collectors .
It’s a bit like buying an MGB when your 90—- only time you need a ragtop MGB IS WHEN YOURE. 17/18 and dont know any better . Crap motor with a lorry [truck] engine and a top speed of 70mph — downhill with a tail wind.

I believe the American Flyer was a 2 track system. I had a couple of set YEARS ago. Don't know what happened to them,
