AESTHETICALLY theres not been much advancement on foot design in the last fifty years. OMC and Königs were much more feminine!
Mercs were always Ugly but Effective. Bit like their drivers

Now theres ugly, and then pug ugly. and then theres the uglier than a stack of assholes on a mud fence ugly. With Garbrecht way out front, BDP (FBI) ran a close second. Before taking my nose off at Havasu i was in the top ten, all Mercury drivers of course .

Just heard W.S.HOLLAND DIED. He was a good friend of Pruetts. Met him at Rolla’s in Lugano. Told him i was going to Berlin to get some spare parts for a couple of motors. Was easier to drive over to Berlin in those days, if you were prepared to drive the corridor !
I would meet him at the Albert Hall , he would leave tickets at the box office and treat us all to dinner at The Inn On The Park.
wonderful character. As i grow older , i watch more and more of my friends and acquaintances pass away, Makes me very sad indeed . R>I>P> W.S.
