Had to be the best boat color combo Merc ever had. Am I missing something in the photo? Tall cowling Moli has Seebold's number on it but Seebold is not in the group?

Just out of curiosity, How come Renato is the only one without his name sewed on his jacket?
I only know three in the picture, Renato, Mr. Bob and Mr. Gary G.
I do remember the decal on the side of the Molinari's. Renato started using those just before we left Italy in the spring of '74.
Mr. Wilson, I hope all is well on your side of the pond.

All OK now, I lost my log in for scream and fly for three days, all was not lost though. I did manage to get a further ten thousand words written for Jacks book. As my sainted mother used to say ITS AN ILL WIND .

wow, it would appear John SHERLOCK is none too pleased with Lassies “confessions of a con man” in Fact, i would say he is a tad pissed off with him.
While i dont suppose his dealings were illegal, he certainly sailed close to the wind.
All that crap about his love of Evinrude was just his way of thanking OMC for leaving a hole he was very happy to exploit .
I always wondered how he got the big following on Scream and fly. He didnt , he linked it to Facebook and used the numbers. Again , sneaky , but not illegal.
cant help but wonder if the taxman ever looked closely at his shenanigans in both Sweden and the USA .
Take a look at lassies “FACTS” ABOUT OMC SITE it does make for some interesting reading .

Sometimes when it gets printed, then it has a chance to morph into public fact.

Art portrays life (and even in the boat industry). See the movie link below, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence.
In this scene we witness the truth being revealed, but the legend was considered more acceptable. And the man who made a change, for the town's better, did not receive his due credit. But then he is Duke — John Wayne.

"When the legend becomes fact ... print the legend."

So the Taxman, will only leave you with a unicycle.
Sounds like Renato should have ventured to a more tax friendly haven, like Southern France or Monaco.
