Reading between the lines Bob, would appear from the BOL there were eight motors or the equivalent weight———- heavy motors at that——— ?
Nah, course they couldn’t possibly be V8 production run———- nobody would ever be that stupid again.
Take no notice of me——— I’m just a dopey old git who fantasises., Not only that, I still believe in Santa Claus and the tooth fairy .

when I punch that website in, they want a password and to know if my home phone is my cell phone and did I get the new four digit they sent to my mobile that they don’t even have the number of——- all kinda weird .
Gary tells me they have a great website, but it hasn’t been touched in over a year and that they moved from Orange Texas to Louisiana and then fell off the planet.
Maybe it’s just a temporary hiccup——- I know a lot of folk were hoping to buy one of these motors, at almost any price along with a lot of well known “names”.
It looked like they’d done the hard part——-paid big bucks to front it——- then simply, just fell out of bed.
why don’t you take a closer look and see if you can make any more sense out of it than I can?

That was in the days of “Music”, before the rappers and screaming girlie groups.

Seem to have opened up a-can of worms with the CRT question.
Bob V found a wealth of information which makes for some very interesting reading if you care to follow his website findings———- all is not what it appears to be at first glance. It’s like an Ian Fleming novel——— full of intrigue and secrets covering three continents.
Cmon Fuji,we should be able to milk this well into the new year!
Bob V has made a brilliant start.
I am not sure if you know this Jackie but Joe was a Sheffield born Yorkshire man he lived not much more than a mile from where I am stood now.

Funny how one little thing leads to another in this world Steve.
Do you remember Dave Parkinson’s partner at JBS, Charlie Saunders ? Reason I ask this is, he was agent for a couple of lyric belters———— MEATLOAF was one, Joe Cocker was the other.
Charlie was also heir to port maker “COCKBURN”———- was never expected to make old bones——— but he has.
Fun person to be around, but mad as a bloody March hare.

Gene, it never ceases to amaze me how small the world we live in really is.
Theres Joe Cocker who was born 30 miles from where I was born, and you ferrying the contractor for his new house, six thousand miles away in Colorado!

I should catch you up again next month——— 80 bloody six——- My sainted. Mother told me I wouldn’t make forty, yet here I am frightening the larks every morning as I yell out to the world——— Nah,Nah,Na,Nah,Nah, surprise!

My son in law, Little Jeff, who’s a whizz kid with MACS, came over this evening and downloaded the 1978 Bristol Grand Prix for me————- this is the first time I have ever seen this version of the event——— some great pit interviews with Percy and Spalding and myself.
Really had the Cosworth tramping in the first heat——— Seebold first, Percy second, me third before the wing dislodged itself, should have been a lot better, but spun out on the first turn. Stone bitch of a course to overtake a half decent driver.
Nearly there, but I’ll talk to you all tomorrow, g’night all.

Merry Christmas everybody——- whatever your belief, creed or colour.
Somewhere along the line, I will probably be Brought to task and told it’s not PC to say that.
Well, guess what——— I’ve been saying just that for over 80 years now and it’s not about to change.
So again, to all my friends and family, wherever you may be—— HEALTH WEALTH AND HAPPINESS.

A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR. JACK.

Jackie... I am sure you've been asked this many times before but I can't find a thread on it...Who thought of putting the wing on and what was the thinking behind it?

I was going to ask you on the day...but you always seemed to be surrounded by pretty girls......!

Good idea on the card thing BTW, any copyright on it though?

Was Keith Duckworths idea Ron———- he thought the whole back end needed lifting. ( bear in mind all the F1 cars of the day had wings).
All those pretty girls around the boat were my daughters, We were a family concern, seven of us went wherever there was a race meeting.
Two youngest ones Kim and Sam, went as far as Havasu, then went up to Oregon with Jim and Fred Hauenstiens folks in an RV for a couple of weeks.

Whats a copyright Ron ? It was my boat——— I was driving it———— don’t ever remember giving the photographer permission to take the bloody picture in the first place.

Surely this is not another of those damned stupid PC things again?
