Today is our 22 nd wedding anniversary———- course, it’ll never last———-was told that on numerous occasions———- in spite of everything———we made it, Jilly and me !
Celebrated with a bottle of Moët & Chandon 2008 and Alaskan crabs legs, have to tell you —— it went down well!

was sorely tempted to test the special brew today——— resisted valiantly, the day will come!

Well,that went down like a turd in a punch bowl————-ok, so I lied————I am just fourteen years younger than her——-or vice versa, whatever you want to make of it?
Hobbled round the car boot for a while, but had to call in and get picked up.
The old body is just not the fighting force it used be——— needs a huge boost from somewhere together us back on an even keel.

Spent Saturday morning in the surgery————my arse is like a pin cushion!
Hospital visit Monday afternoon——— that’s to see if they can find out what’s really wrong with me.
Had an afternoon out with my youngest daughter Sam, then back to her house on the beach.
Yonks ago,I gave her a box full of old slides I hadn’t looked at in thirty years. She had set up a screen and projector———— the next two hours were mind blowing.
Rossi and me went to Oshberg on the promise of a ride in Havasu ——— that was 1969——— there had been big managerial changes that month ——end of our ride.
We hired a rent-a-racer and decided to drive down to Ensalada——- was dirt roads most of the way in those days, but we did learn the correct way to have a tequila———salt, lime, tequila and deep breaths.
I had long forgotten these rolls of film, to suddenly see the Havasu of fifty years ago bloody near made me cry.
