Bernies kid Petra is getting a divorce, ( as you do these days )----difference here is a little matter of the £500,000,000 her ex is wanting to share--------told ya Bernie, you only reap what ya sow !
Surprised Bernie hasn't brought in the big guns (colloquially speaking of course)------- Russky and Eytie mafia must be chomping at the bit to do the old boy a favour. Am led to understand ex husband is not in the rudest of health ? What's the betting he's about to get a whole lot sicker ?
Over 80 dead now with 23 families unaccounted for after the tower block fire. Will probably be another year before the final death toll is known-------there are no official lists of who actually lived there. Could have been five, ten or fifteen people in each apartment---------could be why everyone is keeping "schtum"
Craig and family are heading out to Sarasota today--------just hoped they managed to iron out some of the bugs they've been experiencing with this particular boat.
Daughter Kim took me downto the Chichester Yacht Club for lunch-------twice in two weeks, getting spoiled rotten lately.
Should have Marks concept ready to ship next week John-----decided to do Ron a fresh effort, when it's ready I'll send it to you for finishing-------it'll be a Schubert/Wilson effort -------should light up his face a little.
Suppose I could squeeze a Scotti/Rotory for Jimbo at a push, though he may not collect junk -------ask him next time you talk to him.!

I got to play in Ivan's memorial golf game tomorrow------I'm paired up with Ivan's sister Katherine.
Havent picked up a club since the old farts tourney last November.
I figure I've only got so many golf shots left in me--------so why waist them just practicing------will certainly give it my best shot.
Away for the next three days, so the workshops dormant for a while. Life goes on , the wheels keep turning, nothing stays the same. Takes me longer to get out of the car than it ever did, my whole body seems to be slowing down--------back aches if I pick up an empty paper bag these days, but the Quasimodo stoop has gone !
Just fifteen months ago I bought an HP Envy Wi Fi printer-------last week it puked. Course, naturally it's out of warranty--------bite the bullet------down to Office Supplies and dish out another £60 for a replacement. It's true what they say -------we live in a throwaway society and the chuck away times are getting shorter. Some days you eat b-----------and get screwed.

Actually looking for the earlier version adpters that were configured like this 6-Tillotson carb setup.

Roger the Bendix manifold is older than the 6 carb and was reserved for factory team motors only.
The six carb unit was made by Doc Hledin in Canada under the name MachMa A couple of years later. IF you can get the FI parts you ahouldnt need to adapt one to the other. Besides the new EFI stuff works just as good or better.

Seem to remember a guy called Alex who was always coming up with fancy six carb configurations. Mark was racing with Billy at that time ( early seventies ) I always thought he was a dentist -------met him in St Louis a couple of times.
Doc Morgan was another who was always goofing with carburettor systems--------I was never that impressed with the outcome.
Rich, wasn't there another "Doctor" ?---------Blair ? Believe he was at Dublin university---------maybe a two cycle expert !
Well, today's the day I get to swing a golf club again, just hope the back and the shoulder stand up to it. Got a two hour drive op to Hertfordshire---------breakfast at eleven-------Gun fires at one o'clock.
Big eats and presentations at eight------going to be a long day.
Sometimes I ask myself why the hell did I let myself get talked into this-------must be the mad fits of depression I keep falling into---------any normal right thinking person would stay home, spend the morning in the shop, have lunch followed by an hours nap then play catchup on the laptop. Suppose I lead quite a boring existence really--------but it suits me, and let's me grow old gracefully but kicking.

So with Alex developing the motors and Leo keeping them running and setting them up------it's small wonder Timmy managed to squeeze out the odd win or two here and there---------all that in spite of Billy's " Assistance" !

Craig finally got his boat dialled in-------now it's running in a straight line with very little Dance tendencies and it goes where he puts it--------bit different to the donkey he ran earlier in the season. He did say he never had time to sort his own boat, was too busy sorting everyone else's problems.
Boat looked good and handled well.
He managed three wins out of three starts yesterday in Sarasota, aided and abbeted by sister Kate and ramrodded by Mark. Nicely done boys and girl!
