Walked into the workshop this morning and thought to myself, how the hell can you possibly operate with all this gear cluttering up the hog market.
Took all the offending pieces off the shelves, put 'em on the floor and blew the air line over them-----some bits have been up on the shelf for years----the first attempt Roller----the WILLABEE Aitcheson Topeka ----the chute surfer and 18 more.
What to do with them -----to garden shed them-----or not to shed them.Came out with a brilliant solution-----clean the shelves off and put 'em all back to gather more dust. Men can conquer all, we just have to think about it for a year or three.

Am open to any offers for any or all of the items you see in the shop, they all have to go, have to make room for the next one.
Have a huge stack of exotic timber to wind my way through, creating all sorts of nonsense and ridiculous things, and just occasionally someone like DONMAC comes along and asks me to make something useful. Speaking of which, I haven't heard from him for a couple of weeks, hope he still wants the ASH guitar I made for him.Maybe he's gone on vacation for a week or two
thats Dons guitar, have no idea how the Meercat got in ther

This is an image of the Great Crested Pelicokadoodlequack a native of South East Florida -----became quite rare in the 50/s and 60/s, had very delicate hearing and was susceptible to noise. Last known habitat was the Miami marine stadium in the mid 70/s but the three pipers were the final nail, rumour has it the last remaining pair fled to site 7 (Havasu) only to find there, hundreds of the noisy three pipers, which finally did for those beautiful birds.
they were plagued with the bold weevil disease which did not help their dilemma -They were hunted to extinction by eager grandparents and their children, the chase has now been switched to the native turkey bird----let's hope they are not hunted to extinction------remember the dear departed "PELICOKADOODLEQUACK "

Remember a a while back I told you an old acquaintance of mine sent me a boat to play with, turns out it's an early Cappolini DAC, beautifully constructed, just needs to be mounted on the right setting.
Base is cast and polished aluminium mounted on a tapped and threaded half inch stainless rod, (bent it to shape myself) think I will have to Fill the square with resin to imitate water, or a nice chunk of exotic timber, it's a bit bland at the minute, but it is the first crack at it.
Will not paint it in case anyone wants to buy it and paint it in their own colours' got an opening bid of £ 200, so no daft offers please, shipping to the USA is £70, and to the USSR £700. The oligarchs have more money.!!!

Hi Jackie you do look as if you are keeping well in those pictures must be all that hard talking and thinking or maybe a small Wine or two has made a difference.Would Ray Bulman have been reporting this event from the US for the Motorboat and Yachting if he did this report it might still be available` last year I told Roy Cooper I would spend a day in London at their offices checking all the old Powerboating History files on back issues of race reports and would get as much information as possible for his Website I will keep you up to date when I can manage all this?.SP

Back end of last year Kim, my middle daughter asked if I would make her a garden ornament, so I made her a "Newtons cradle"----not just any old cradle, as a rule they are made with steel bearings, anything from half to two inch diameter.
kims is a bit different, it's made from six crown green bowls, 30" stainless table, and a 2"diameter stainless arm.
Cast a concrete base so it couldn't blow over, so bobs your uncle and fannys your ant , the biggest cats cradle you ever saw.
Just thought you might like to see something a bit different from the usual run of the mill stuff.

Went to the car boot sale (fleamarket to the colonials) picked up a couple of really nice modern cast alloy candlesticks by Anna Efverlund, they were covered in crud and candle wax , took about an hour to clean them up, looked in the scrap box and found an odd shaped piece of French Oak------shaped it and polished same, bolted the two bits on it and Voila.
If you look between the legs ( a bit like legs I thought) there is a plate which fits on the front of a motor vehicle, this dates from 1967 and was issued by MYCCA-CANNES.
There was one for each country competing in the GDE SEMAINE MOTONAUTIQUE.
There were seven races held on the French Riviera from Monte Carlo to Dez-Embiez with parties and casinos and big eats every day, Caviar and Champagne were the norm.
if you had one of those plates on the front, you had the key to the town,a licence to park on the pavement, the police would not bother you, as you can imagine every driver wanted one, but there was only one for each country.
I was the only Englishman competing in 1966 and got the English plate, but in 1967 Tony Williams beat me to it, so I put on an American accent and nailed the USA plate, finders keepers -----all's fair in love and boat racing.
Won 22 trophies that week, free gasoline, food and lodging, met Velden for the first time and PRUETT .
thats it for tonight, I'm bushed--hope her next to me doesn't want sex AGAIN.

Sorting through the logs for the wood stove, came across an interesting piece that tickled my fancy, shaped it and polished it.
Picked up an unusual Amelite in Whitby last year, thought it would look good if I carved out a place for it and glued it flush.
Cut out my last piece of granite, edged it and polished it, stitched it all together and Voila there you have the "Touchy Feely" in all it's glory.
Going to clean the workshop out over the weekend, got bogged down in there, too many pieces cluttering up the place.
Have a nice weekend folks, may take a couple of days off, give you all a break from my rumblings , try not to bore you all senseless.

General census of opinion is these are legs!!! Who's legs is anyone's guess, will try and load a couple of candles just to show you I'm not telling "porkies"
Ms Lynne Seebold thinks there legs, her who shall be obeyed thinks they are legs, even I have a smidgin of an idea they could be legs
No MR Welch I do not have a legs fetish, whilst I can fully appreciate a nice pair of pins, I am a boob and teeth man, always have been, always will be----Monroe, Dors, Mansfield, Turner, Novak, Hayworth,------where have all the good girls gone?
Time to get up and greet another wonderful day, didn't even unlock the shop doors yesterday, tell you about the day later if I get half a chance, promised I'd leave you alone for a couple of days, and I did.
