Gene congratulations! There is one little strip up there in the Colorado mountains. I can’t remember if it is Leadville or the one around Loveland. But it’s supposed to be one of the worst trips to come out of in the mountains surrounded by peaks in in a valley anyway Fairweather good flying Amberjack

Good for you Gene! The Mustang really gets my attention though. My first brand new car was an Acapulco Blue 67 notchback 289 car. Looked just like the magazine ads.

When i first met KATHY FLO SMITH at Havasu in 1971, her ride was FAST BACK POWDER BLUE —-FOUR ON THE FLOOR MUSTANG . Was bought by her dad for her seventeenth birthday brand fire new .Girl kept it for over twenty years before moving it on. Decision she badly regrets ,but due to mitigating circumstances ___—————!!!!!!!!!!
Kath now lives in TRINIDAD COLORADO. Maybe you can guess what my ambitions are for this year ?????????????

BEEN UP TO MY FETLOCKS finishing off concepts for over a week now in an effort to gain space—generally tidy up the shop and try to make some sort of headway in life. Failed miserably up to now !
when you have to use the bandsaw and the pillar drill as worktops , when you have three large two foot and three foot wide benches —then you're in trouble !!!!!!!!
So, sister Ange and husband are coming Monday to help sort things out.
Dizziness is declining slowly but not gone yet. Dare not use machinery whilst this goes on . So i am mostly drawing up new ideas for new concepts . I do have a headful of ideas——lots of ambition , but limited ability. Hope capability is stil abundant but will not know that until i get a tad more space and actually start to create again.
next up are the three :BENSON AND HEDGES : of Velden -MOSTERT and SALABERT which will join the other two i already sent to LOwestoft.
Once they’re gone i can start on the”“DUCKWORTH/COSWORTH “ trophy and the “GORDON MURRAY AUTOMOTIVE trophy.
Have to be on top of my game for these two. Half—asse—-would just not be acceptable.
Been buying and selling like a demented Gippetto to raise enough for a first class ticket to ORLANDO in november< no way am i travelling cattle class again .
I am half way there with six months to go , so i do have high hopes at the minute.
We actually had a dry warm day yesterday with another forecast for today.
Ah well—another day—another dollar !!!!!!!! Lets see what today brings.

Oh to be in England now that Aprils here
And whoever wakes in England finds some morning unaware
While the robin sings on the orchard bough —in England now.

We have had more than our fair share of bards and poets through the ages .
Always loved the poets without exception.
Disliked Shakespeare intensely and thought cGeoffrey Chaucer was a hypocritical peadophile hiding under the guise of a monk.
Loved American writers —as a kid i loved Mark Twain and as i grew older i found a love of literature in Hemingway——Steinbeck——Arthur miller and others.
Stood me in good stead for the rest of my life , although i dont remember any great AMERICAN poets.
Musicians and music of all colours—creeds and sizes —-whether its Jazz ,classical or trad —makes no difference . Does not have any boundaries . Just as the world should be but fails miserably.

Felt dizzy for a while —- banned from the shop—-and thought i might bore you with a few words from an old 91 year old “MIGHTABEEN”
