When I lived in Coconut Grove as a kid were used to live right behind the old fire station on 22nd Ave. One of our favorite things to do when we were eight or nine years old, was to visit the fire station and hang out with some of the firemen. Are used to be a great big banyan tree in front of the fire station as these trees were quite prevalent in South Florida at the time. Yes they had the typical dalmatian dog and they did sound the sirens and let us sit in the fire trucks best to all amberjack .

Now if Gene will just invite us over when he gets the Lanhamagle commemorative trophy as Jackie is calling it. Maybe we can drink champagne out of it while it sits on the salad bar.lol i it is truly a work of art, and Jackie has gone up above and beyond and creating it so thank you Jackie for honoring mr. LANHAM with such a piece.

Managed to get a full day in the shop today, no interruptions whatsoever. Fixed a couple of machines with new drives——and worked out how to do the four pointer with a wing. Been bothering me for a while but i can put it to bed before next weekend because i now know the direction i am heading.
will show a piccie or three in the next couple of days.
Swopped a concept for an AMBOYNA table last year—-sold it today [for a handsome price] .
Had to smile to myself when i recalled the posh Scottish wedding i went to at Goodwood yesterday —it’s usually bloody funerals i go to these days.Last edited by jackiewilson; 02-19-2023 at 05:25 PM.

Those women at the top of the ladder are in the 3 & 4 story high height.
That height on a ladder is not for the faint of heart.
