Well it looks to me like “KARIN’S” is a hugely successful business whichever way you look at it!!!!!!
Which is what every business strives to be.
Congratulations to Gene and Karin, success does not ever come cheaply in any walk of life, it’s never simple, it’s always worked at and has to be earned .
So retire when you feel like it—— then enjoy it—-
ME——-i retired when i was 50 years old !!!!!!!!!——then i started working harder than i ever did before and have never stopped since.
Now i dont have the time to retire ——- and besides, i am travelling the helter - skelter of life at such a rapid rate of knots i would probably get injured if i even tried to get off.

121 percent sure. He brought his wife Joan with him and stayed at the farm —we travelled down to Bristol in the family RV.
BOB SPALDING took the picture—- he had been badly injured in SEVILLE earlier that year— he never did race again after that,

Chalk cliffs and very prone to crumbling. Water and chalk are not good bedfellows. With the rain we had this winter, there have been multiple landslides so it’s not a great place to take a hike . Can’t say i have ever seen a picture taken from that angle—— very impressive.
Went to my great grand daughters POLLY’S 11th birthday party yesterday [she was named after my grandmother]. Got to talking to Steven [my eldest daughters husband and POLLY’S grandad].
Before he went to work for BUZZI, he went to MOLINARI for a job [as a carpenter]. But he was asking too much money so was never employed by him . But they did become firm friends [again i never knew this] so it was interesting to hear it from him. He did work with HODGES for many years and they used to repair antiques long before Hodges worked for Cougars.
Even at 91 —it’s never too late to learn !!!!!!!!!

I NEVER ONCE SAW HIM AN A STRAW BOATER !!!!!!!!
His usual headgear was a tall black Navajo indian hat. He actually bought me one [no idea what happened to it — but it is well over fifty years since he presented it to me.
Shirt he is sporting is a pre-1970 KEIKHAEFER/MERCURY ONE [BUT HE LOOKS OLDER THAN HE DID IN BRISTOL .Last edited by jackiewilson; 01-22-2023 at 01:26 PM.

HAD TO DO MY MIDDLE DAUGHTER KIMMY a birthday cake . Down side is she didn’t want it iced in traditional Royal Icing [icing sugar and Egg Whites !!!!!!!!! She wanted a sponge with Lemon Curd and Butter Cream . Crap and Corruption —— its rubbish to work with and difficult to even cover the cake and hide it.
But—it is my daughters 60th birthday so the effort will be made ———DINNER AT THE TOP OF THE WORLD IN PATCHAM.
Did six stern drives and a wing this afternoon. Total hours in shop today was seven ——- took a shilling or two and cracked on with numbers 3 + 4. Plus —i decorated a birthday cake — not bad for an old fart approaching 91.
