Beautiful replications Jackie truly the artist in you comes out at Christmas I don’t know if lucky strike was a big brand and boat racing I don’t remember them sponsoring any bows but I’m probably wrong on that again anyway hope you and your family has a good Christmas and a happy new year. All the same to all the OFF racers out there.

    TinAnd plastic trophies

And plastic trophies I absolutely agree with Lake X kid and your daughter. Jackie you should look through some of these boat races as you have and contract with them to make meaningful representative concepts for the trophy presentations. Your creations represent something that people will treasure over the years and not turn them into roofing material Dust collectors Or trashcan fillers.

Sweet Jesus Jackie we’ve got to give you a geography lesson. Rochester is a city in New York State Apple New York StateUpperPart. Aunt Jemima pancake mix Is what we colonials all grew up on up over here. And there’s a distinction between rednecks some of us are sand shoe rednecks and then there’s your real rednecks. And you forgot hillbillies. And LA is not in California it is lower Alabama To us southern boys. Great racecourse is Gunnersville andEufaula Alabama.By the way it’s going down into the 50s again tonight so we’ll have to put on our sandal socksTo keep warm. Best always Amberjack

Well sometimes everything doesnt go to plan and i dont get it all right. Benny is not the happy bunny i hoped he would be . In my defence there are as always MITIGATING CIRCUMSTANCE !!! I DID TRY AND GET IT TO HIM FOR CHRISTMAS——MATERIAL I HAD TO WORK WITH WASNT UP TO MUSTER——PLUS I WAS SLOPPY. I have apologised to Benny and promised to make him another . As my sainted mother used to say [or was it my teacher — i forget ] CAN DO BETTER.
Do have a slight problem here —- i am booked up from now until easter, thats providing i never take another commision. Just spent $500 on good aluminum , so i have some great stock.
I have four workbenches in my shop and couldnt get to any of them.
Spent all friday morning clearing and cleaning the main bench ——cleaning the airbrush— changing the vice ——renewing all the grinding disks. In fact—making it safe to walk around the shop, without it being a danger to life and limb.
Rain has stopped for a brief respite before commencing again Christmas Day and into the new year, but nothing like you are having in the colonies!
spending the whole day cleaning up again —— made a big mistake not cleaning up after myself every day—- place gets to be like the bottom of a baby’s pram. [all snot and biscuit crumBS]. A Merry Christmas to all my friends out there !!!! As SCROOGE once famously said “ GOD BLESS YOU ONE AND ALL !!!!!!!!

Christmas Day breakfast. We always start the day with smoked salmon and bubbly, have done for years. Its part of the tradition of Christmas.
Had a great evening with Lizzie Christmas Eve, only night of the year she goes to bed willingly, she know KRIS KRINGLE is a very old friend of mine and calls me every day so she’s always on her best behaviour.
All the kids in the neighbourhood were out on their new contraptions[mostly electric power] we live in a circular close built around a huge green —all the kids were out racing long before the sun -up on new contraptions.
Turkey lunch and trimmings at Lizzie’s place —KINGS SPEECH—- plum duff and custard. Finish off the port. Drop off to sleep in an easy chair.
2nd day of festivities —- big eats and drink, Evening in front of the “TELLY” and then just BOXING DAY to contend with ?????????

Merry Christmas everybody. Covid finally caught up with my wife and I. We are both ok now but I had a pretty tough time for a few days.
Yesterday our Granddaughter informed us we will be Great Grandparents in June. Best present in a long time.

Remember i told you my daughter BOO [Tracy] named her second child CASEY-AFTEr CEES VAN DER VELDEN. [BOO could name you every driver on the European racing calendar ]. She could tell you first five drivers at any time in the Paris Six Hours. She was a powerboating freak all her life.
Those are CASEY’S five kids with me on the couch today . Winnie and Betty are the two youngest of my fifteen great grandchildren . Boxing Day lunch 2022.
