Had some blood tests yesterday [feckin insurance companies insist] wont be long before i’m
completely dried out and running on CC7!!!!!!
Always thought FOSTER BROOKS had died —- happy to tell you he‘s alive and well and practising to be a gravedigger at Saint Richards hospital Chichester.
He went out into the hallway —- left the double doors open —— needle in both hands and started his run up ——- SHEEEEEIT——MISSED THE VIEN ——— but i do have great kaliedescope of blue and yellows with touches of pink aound the edges .
Sorry ‚bout that — those damn hard to find little suckers almost disappear completely when you approach a hunnard. And he loaded up the needle for a replay .
Well-as you might guess -im not too enamoured by his antics and told him politely that in all my90years of giving bloods —never ever had they had to try twice . Suppose he was a tad pissed at me — he rammed the aforesaid device into my arm with such force , it came out the other side [just above the elbow —-or so it felt] Result of this little exercise is a REMBRANDT arm —- look closely and you can see THE LAUGHING CAVALIER !!!!!!!!
I now walk around with my cashmere sleeve rolled up past the elbow —simply to show off my war wounds. Word „“ASSEHOLE „“ has been on my mind a lot today

LOL Veins are like cops. Never around when you need them. Was using my DeWalt cordless cutoff saw the other day to cut steel tubing. One piece took a fall and hit the back of my hand. Ouch! Thought nothing of it and kept on cutting. next thing I know there's a river of blood running over my beautiful yellow DeWalt tool! Hit a vein on the back side of my hand. Messed up my shop like a murder movie. 3 stitches later and wearing a nitrile glove for a week. Thought for sure the ER could fix with a steristrip and Superglue? By the way, SuperGlue and medical grade glue are identical except for set rates. Standard Superglue sets fast and will burn a little but in a pinch you can use it. Turns out that standard Superglue made its first appearance for wound repair by medical units in the Vietnam war.

Been doing stuff like that for years —- if you get a baddie anywhere on the hands and wrists slap some superglue on it and shove your hand into a large rubber glove ——then get to the hospital.

Only went and did it again —dropped one of my concept mounts on to my right foot —same damn foot i dropped a concept on two months ago. How stupid is that ——-early indications are a chipped bone and a limp !!!!!!
Sheeeit and corruption —- here’s me getting USA prepared and i go do something so bloody stupid.
Just been into Chichester Centre for my fifth Covid 19 jab— this is the booster again jab for the over whatever’s to survive much longer than we might have done if we hadn’t had a jab in the first place [if you get what i mean]. Only really had it done so US border control don’t refuse me entry, due to the fact i wasn‘t jabbed up to date.
Trunk full of goodies is just about up to maximum capacity [100 lbs]. Individually wrapped and then swathed in blankets for extra protection . Most of them are solid metal apart from the three old SWITZER WINGS. JUST WAITING TO SEE IF I GET THE GRAPHICS FOR THE MACH ONE AND A MAN CALLED MERT.
just another three weeks and a bit and i will be with a select band of old farts for two days at the OFF meeting —- Then down to KEY WEST for a few days in the fast lane .!!!!!!!!!!

Nearly got the HOGWARTS trunk filled ——just shy of 50 kilos -100lbs—- reason for this is ther only a couple of wooden toys —rest are solid metal. Those at OFF get first dibs —- rest will go down to KEY WEST.

Got into a kinda swop for what you got deal with a few traders at the car boot sale —- hilarious time —still have no idea of how i wound up with a GOLD ROLEX DAYTONA . I am light quite a few concepts including a couple of rollers —two offshore and a circuit concept . So—it cost a couple of grand in concepts —-what the hell it’s thirty years since i lost my SUBMARINER and the insurance company decided not to pay me . Life is for living , but i am not a gambler by the longest stretch of imagination —- i work too hard for the cash that i have to gamble it away !!!!!!
Yes i have been warned about all the hokey Rolex‘s that are floating about —did all the checks i possibly could before diving in —- my decision so i went along with it .

You are with an illustrious group of Gold Rolex owners.

    Like … Dan Gurney ’62, Phil Hill ’64, Ken Miles ’64 & “65,
Mark Donohue ’69, Mario Andretti & Jacky Ickx ’72,
Bobby Rahal ’81, AJ Foyt ’83, AJ & Al Unser ’85,
Derek Bell & Al Unser Jr ’86 & ’87, and Martin Brundle ’88.

However, those guys got their Gold watches the grueling way, by winning the 24 Hours of Daytona.
