    Afraid they are still like that —been waiting for the decals and livery for well over a year now —-the lad says he just doesn't have time to make them. [son in law]. Have since been talking to an alternative source that i did a big favour for . Lets wait and see how that pans out !!!!!!!!
    Problem is I’m fast running out of time before the OFF meeting in early November and the suitcase is damn near full up to the allowed weight. Just another of life’s little quirks !!!!!!!!!
    Weird how i seem to have gone to all metal concepts these days in place of the mainly wood ones of yesteryear .
    However i did find a great piece of yew that will make up the canopy and give a concept a tad more character . With metal its only possible to create character with SHAPES and finish whereas wood is already a beautiful thing even before you touch it, all i do is enhance it.
    Do have a couple more concepts nearly ready for showing—-one is a circuit boat of the modern era —tother is an offshore effort that i really do like .
    Miles jennings should be here this week sometime to pick up his his other concepts i made for him, there was no way i could finish them in time for his last visit . Be interesting to hear what he thinks about them !!!!
    BLOODY HURRAY —I’m putting in more time and working harder and longer than when i was gainfully last employed some forty odd years ago.!!!! How the hell did that happen ?????????

    Finally found a home for the globe.
    scrapped the one i made for a car boot find . Another concept of a modern day circuit racer . It is actually one i did earlier . Never was happy with the original mount, so i scrapped it. Now I’m happy.

    Britian installs 4 Prime Ministers in 6 years ... the new British version of the Italian experience.

    Liz Truss welcome to the revolving door, or can you succeed long-term, where your previous predecessors were instead shown the exit door.

    ~~~~~
    She will need to stop the dramatic escalation of rising heating bills this winter, or Liz will be a short-term PM, per Andrew Neil.
    Yeah well Roy, it’s like this —- we have the freedom to get rid of the ones we don't like— we don't have to wait four years . Nothings written in stone here —good or bad !!!!!!!
    Looks like your stuck with SLEEPY JOE. And all you can do is bitch !!!!!!!!
    Plus of course an american would know exactly how to fix our problems ——-JUST LIKE THAT. As tommy cooper used to say.
    Talking about the Italian experience ...
    Ambrosetti Forum is an annual international economic conference held at Villa d'Este, in the Italian town of Cernobbio on the shores of Lake Como. The AF is currently now meeting in Como.
    The Forum presents forecasts of the economic and geo-political outlooks for the world, Europe and Italy. The forum also analyzes the main scientific and technological developments and their impacts on the future of business and society.
    ~~~~~

    What better meeting place to do business/politics then in Lake Como. Where celebrities like George Clooney have lakefront homes.

    And also, home to some Italian relatives (father, son, and their nephew/cousin) who had an early impact on the trajectory of F1 tunnel boat designs.

    So just what the hell has the Italian experience got to do with England and its prime ministers ???
    And lets face it Roy any bloody excuse to have an all paid for few DAYS at the VILLA-D-ESTE’ would be grabbed with both hands by any politician from anywhere in the world !!!!!!
    Don't really matter what obscure pretext they meet under [economic and neo political outlooks — Who the hell thought that lord of gobbledegook ??]. fact is it will be me and thee that foots the bill in the end .

    Had another of those rare days when everything goes right and no interruptions . Was in SUPERSHED before eight and put the finishing touches to the circuit concept before giving the twin outboard offshore effort my undivided attention for the day. Jesus Wept but did that ever pay off. I did a weeks work in a day. Just another two or three to hook out and finish before i let the little grey cells loose again.
    I swear to god i did not stand on my head to do those damned piccies ——-i have them safely ensconced in my library —-and my recents ——i can tell you with hand on heart they are the right bloody way up!!!!!!!!!! So why do they come out all arse backwards ??????????

    You hit that nail right on the head. This is a big drawback in our system. All we can do is try to do damage control until the next genera election.

    Ok so how do i do that —-hold it in my left foot and use the right big toe as a didget ?????? I thought there was only one way to take a foggie— take off lens hood — switch on camera —hold it close to the predominant eye [everyone has a PREDOMINANT eye] place object chosen in the middle of frame and click away to your hearts content and voila you have pictures without even taking the negs to the chemist !!!!!!!!! But thanks for setting the piccies straight.
