    Shop is like a pig sty [or the bottom of a baby’s pram]. Almost always have two or three concepts running at the same time . It’s like im afraid of losing the idea if i don't get it started there and then. Consequently, tidying up after myself doesn’t happen that often. I have four times as much worktop space as the last stop !!!!!! Allows me six times as much space to fill with junk.
    A while back i decided to finish some of the concepts from “under the bench” —this consists mainly of UNFINISHED PROJECTS —ie; six ROLLS ROYCE SILVER GHOSTS — six OFFSHORE POWERBOATS —- plus the ongoing everyday sort of projects .. in fact , i am rapidly disappearing up my my own Asse .
    Today i have three concepts to finish . First ,the CHUNKY ALL METAL V8 RUDE. It kinda hit hard when ROTORY JOHN said the concept looked cheap and nasty—- been thinking for a couple of months what i could do to improve it. Thats todays first job ——-to be continued.

ID:	501745 Another from UNDER THE BENCH—— BOAT IS ACTUALLY 25 YEARS OLD —- nothing much changes in offshore any more . RATBAG showed me some of his drawings and ideas for a modern fifty foot offshore cat —- like me he reckons the VEE hull has reached its maximum . But his new stuff is really interesting. Reckons the total cost of R + D is way out of anyones reach.
    I reckon i can make this into one of the new HUSKI race team boats .
    Gary is coming to see me the end of this month —— if anyone wants this , PM me and make me a decent offer —- he could take it back with him.

    Speaking of 25 years old.

    50 years ago the Z1’s unveiling in 1972, its 903-cc, DOHC, four-cylinder engine was in a different class to the single-cam unit of Honda’s CB750, which had established the superbike category on its arrival three years earlier.
    With a maximum output of 82 hp and a top speed of over 130 mph, the Kawasaki effortlessly outmuscled the 15-hp less powerful Honda and, frankly, anything else on the road.

    ~~~~~
    I remember (back in the 1970:s) when the Kawasaki 500, 750, & 900 were the street legal speed demons.
    Those models created publicity and brand recognition. And I am sure the competition had to decide then, what they wanted their brands to be marketed as.
    Not unlike Merc Outboards back in the late 1960's & early 1970's. As the faster outboard on water.
    Forget which car manufacturer had the slogan RACING IMPROVES THE BREED !!!! WAS IT EVER SO!!
    ! EVERY MOTOR EVER CREATED HAD TO BEAT THE OPPOSITION TO BECOME MOST WANTED .
    OMC claimed — we go racing with a fishing motor !!!!!
    Mercury claimed they went fishing with a race tuned motor .
    Dont matter what mode of transport it is ——- cars— push bikes—-motor bikes —aeroplanes —- outboards —inboards —- trans Atlantic liners . The need for speed will always be festering somewhere.
    WHILS VISITING THE LOCAL REYCLING FACILITY [sounds much better than SCRAPYARD] I came accross a couple of chunks of alloy —-on second glance , i realised they had the makings of a JONRUDE TROPHY . Only half way through putting the final touches to „“HUSKI“. The red and white cat. Here i go again —disappearing up my own rectum. When will i ever learn ????
    ...when the z-1 900 came out in 1972(the regular z-1), they sold a lot of kerker's for their performance gains, not to mention they greatly improved the entire exhaust note...
