couple of years back my false knashers were giving me grief so i went to the dentist and had a „CONSULTATION „— implants were £1500 each. I needed a minimum of six——— new choppers would be £4,000 . Now i am no mathematician—but even i have no difficulty in realising thats a shed load of dinero.
Settled for new fangs and a lisp !!!!!

Jackie, only recently did I notice that some people are including their chosen gender pronouns next to their names in emails, on social media sites etc... lots of business' are encouraging it too. At first, I didn't get it.. unless you were a "Boy named Sue".. ( as per the Johnny Cash song). Most are He/Him/His or She/Her.. but more and more, "His/Her", "He/She", "They/ Them" and so on are popping up. I now understand it's about inclusion and having a safe place to go to work etc - and that's OK.

So.. I'm in a Zoom meeting two weeks ago with some other people who didn't know one another. We're asked to introduce ourselves by stating our names and pronouns. When it came my turn, I gave my name.. but since this was the first time I've been asked(and wasn't up to speed on the pronoun thing), fumbled out "he/him whatever" ..and laughed a bit.. Nobody laughed back!

I worry that this world is getting a wee bit too serious... and while life never stops changing, a sense of humour is needed, IMHO. As such, if I'm asked for my pronouns again, my answer shall be.. "Me/ You and Dog named Boo"! We'll see where that leads!

FOR REASONS BEST KNOWN TO HERSELF , daughter Sam is not coming to my birthday party on Sunday. So she has organised a party at her beach house for me -my sisters and god only knows who else .
great grandsons Nick and Max — and little Lizzie all have contacted the covid virus and will not be coming to the Sunday bash. Down to 39 at the moment. Only needs another nine to go down and i can have a party in the garden and save a hell of a lot of money. !!!!!!
Good news is although they all tested positive——- they do not feel unwell—- and cant understand why they cant come to the party

...minnie's character was created to be feminine. she was in a dress for a reason. anything less is not nearly as feminine. very surprised disney is changing its history for a very few politically correct people. this isn't the first traditional disney change they have made. there have been dozens. disney is no longer disney. walt would be mortified...
