Many thanks for the comparison Roy but we both know you are comparing me to two of the all time greats and my abilities dont stand up in any shape or form —neither would i pretend to.
I first started making concepts to keep the arthritis at bay and the little grey cells active. I have gradually gotten better at offshore power boats [mainly because there is no one else currently doing what i do] .
Guy in England makes a mould and produces some exact model boats but thats not what i do.
No doubt about it ,i am getting better at making “CONCEPTS” AND THE PRICES ARE SKYROCKETING !!
LAST TWO SOLD FOR WAY OVER £2,000. So i must be doing something right .

When i first got to know him in 1970 he was an engine builder at Hi-Perf , alongside Rick La Mort—Dave Biers—Willabee [Bill Welch] and “BECKY” . We got on like a house on fire . He let me use his VETTE to cruise OSHBERG !!!!!!
All the guys in Hi-Perf had their own particular toys—-most had snowmobiles ——Garbrecht had a white Corvette and an amazing collection of handguns, mostly Smith and Wessons and Lugers .

I used to stay at his house with him and Marsha quite often—— He was always chasing notorious six shooters [especially the THE OLD WILD WEST ones LIKE BILLY THE KID——-THE CLANTONS—]. INn the end he narrowed it down to just two makes ——​LUGERS AND SMITH AND WESSON.

PRUETT and him had an ongoing battle as to who could pull the biggest prank on the other.
PRUETT once called GG at home around 3am. Excuse me sir ,am i speaking to a Mr, Garbrecht ????? Yes, this is Mr Garbrecht ——- this is Oshkosh police department —do you happen to own a white corvette sir?????????—————yes i do————-would you like to come down to the station and collect it . We have just apprehended a juvenile driving your car !!!!!!!!!!!!! GG was not happy about that.
Another time he sent the JONES Dual back to fon du lac with a cayman in each sponson!!!!
One time we had all been to the opening of Disney in Orlando with Gerry GILBRAITH —- we arrived back at the house to find a mountain of sand filling up the driveway—- was PRUETT who yelled FECKIN GARBRECHT !!!!!!!!!.

Yesterday was spent fernagling the very first “WILKI” ?????????
It’s a four inch MINI offshore racer [like the stuff i do] made it in gold and silver—[ aluminium and brass]. hells teeth is that ever impressive , its number one in a series of “WILKI TOYS” AND I AM ASKING £250 FOR IT !!!!!
Ambitious ??????? I dont think so !!!!!!Took me all day and its no where near finished .piccies to follow .
Am off to ANDREW ELLIOTS memorial bash and Barbee on saturday, attendees are Rick Frost—Tony Williams—Jonathan Jones —— and lots of CONTINENTALS . Let you know how i get on .

That sand wasn't from GG
