GENE, not too long ago, we have a news program called BBC NEWS. We were proud of the fact it only told the truth at all times , totally unbiased ! But that was then. Only thing the BEEB cares about these days ,is to be seen as „“POLITICALLY“ CORRECT. Its no longer a purveyor of fearless news, regardless of !!!!! Its a wimp of a news network- Has to have a correct balance of COLOUR ????
Desnt matter a flying fart whether they have an ounce of common sense , can speak english in a clear and precise manner. Look half human - Just one criteria—- there has to be a 50/50 balance of ethnic minority and whites. Ability is out of the window —- so is the factual news . Its carefully edited as to what appears to be right .
So in consequence—- i dont watch much TV these days—- just cant believe what they say !!!!!!!!

Finally have my appointment for the covid jab. Wednesday morning.
Jab centres are popping up all over the place —— 5 million will have had the dose by the weekend .
wanted to see what the side effects are before diving in there . Bugger that, too many folk copping their clogs, I’ll risk it. Time to think positive. Suppose im lucky enough to have the vaccine offered ——then i think i should be gracious enough to accept.

Dont know if it was President Trump who first called it FAKE NEWS . Or not—- but he called it right.
Afraid we have to see it before our eyes afore its acceptable any more !

I got the first shot two weeks ago. However I am having great difficulty getting scheduled for the required second shot. Demand is so high that State and local health departments seem to be overwhelmed.

Well, thats the first jab over and done with——- production line stuff. WEDNESDAY 20TH JANUARY 2021. HAD TO TAKE THE PHIZER——Fresh out of the OXFORD ——- no date set for the second one yet! In and out in 20 mins. That includes the 15 minute rest period. {just to check there are no after effects }. I had an early appointment, but the rest room was full of the over 80/s. All were resting after receiving the jab. Maybe 50 . Vaccine program Looks to be on track——— long way to go. Another 1500 popped their clogs yesterday we are heading for a hungred thousaby the months end.

Sorry about the absence, i do have another life away from S + F, but ive been up to my fetlocks in Covid jabs—-workshop clearance —- finishing off long forgotten projects . For instance i pulled WARBY’S record breaker out from under the laurel hedge , where i carefully threw it four years ago.
Putting the finishing touches to one of the first ever attempts at a SWITZER WING ——- boat and motors fernagled out of solid English oak. Attachment 480993
