No fragrance is more appealing than a "love poof" coming from under the table as you are sitting down to eat a meal..,
One of our bichons used to love to go under the covers in the bed, rip one, and then come out quickly looking for fresh air, leaving us to to inhale the fumes. The EPA controls air quality, but the furry ones are exempt....
I think if you were to invent and market a fart extractor, you would have more business than you could handle.

You do realise Willabee is going to have a field day ————— Too much information——- new depth levels in conversations——- I’m hibernating until the blast has passed——- you’re on your own !

First time I “Experienced “ the noise of a stacker was Havasu in 1969.—— fresh out of downtown Southwater in West Sussex——- first time in the USA—— only ever seen a “Black Widow” in the Paris Six Hours a month before, to say I was a little gobsmacked would be a bit of an understatement.
Evertbody I had ever heard about in the Powerboat mags ——“ Speed-nSprayl etc—were there— Met Billy Seebold and Lynne—— Art Kennedy—-Went home with my ears ringing and promising I’d be back next year!

Had a stellar day in the shop——- have two OZ OMC powered tunnel conceptions!
Done one gearbox, hasn’t worked out too bad—— nearly got it right. That’s the first one which is Andy Bullen’s. Open cockpit !
Second one is Benny Robertson’s canopied boat——— have to tell you, this one is something a tad special——— mind you, I never use measuring sticks or any such devices, so I’m not trying to do models or copies. It’s all done by eye, the greatest measuring device known to mankind, fact.
Several reasons I don’t do models——- first off, I don’t know how—— secondly, Concepts gives me a lot more freedom to create what I remember——- or think I remember——- So if it’s not exactly like the original——- as Rhett Butler so famously said———- Frankly my dear-i don’t give a damn!
Thirdly—— there are people out there who can do model boats a whole lot better and cheaper than I ever could.
Should have them both finished by the end of the week—— or close enough that I can take a piccie or two.
Will have to seriously think about the damned travel insurance —- would appear that I’m only covered if I get hit by a nineteen wheeler truck —— painted purple—— driven by a rock ape———between the hours of 4am and 6:32 ——— on a Wednesday—— travelling over 123 mph !!!
OR——— smothered to death by a pair of one legged blonde nymphos —— deaf in one ear and blind in one eye—— only of Madagascar birth.
Like I said——- insurance companies are legalised Robbin thieving bastards who have taken my money all the years of my life——— given nothing in return——- ( that’s when there was no risk) .
Dont ever have a TIA—— Heart Attack—— Or by- pass—- constipation—- measles or appendix—— I can tell you now—— you are UNINSURABLE,!!!!

Yup—- did the car boot, had a great result—- found a drawer straight out of an engineering shop —- had over two hundred brand fire new metric taps —— and a couple of hundred metric drills——- offered the bloke a twenty pound note for the lot and he damn near snatched my hand off.
Went to the Fly in “Hummingbird Cafe” on Shoreham airport for lunch—— built in the 1920/30s—- time forgot this old airfield——— it’s where I learned to fly helicopters in the late 70/s ( Spooner Aviation).
had a great lunch at very reasonable cost, a pint of Harvey’s best bitter——- might get a couple of hours in the shoplater this afternoon!.
Told you it was largely untouched for the last ninety years——- very Art Deco.

Many thanks Bob—— took the piccie as an afterthought just as we were leaving—— it looked like it was straight out of an Agatha’s Christie Poirot novel!
Good Job you never showed me how to do that!

Spot on Gene—— Bill Steele promised Don Ross and myself a ride in Havasu if we made our own way to Fon Du Lac.
Unfortunately at that particular moment in time, there were big changes going on at Mercury.
Steele was moved sideways and Garbrecht took his job—— Due to the way Americans speak the English language, I misunderstood Gary’s name——— I went looking for GARY GARBAGE .?? New boss of racing was not impressed——— needless to say, we never got to race in Havasu.
So Yes Gene——— I was just an observer in 1969 !!!
Did get to line up in 1970—— but made a real pigs ear of it—— wound up in hospital, next to Joe Fielder.
Thought of you today as I was eating lunch———- Damned if a “MALIBUSTANG” didn’t taxi out on to the runway and take off just as the main course was being served !
Wondered if you got the old lady Sky worthy yet ?
