Been finishing off and tidying the workbench—- its full up underneath so i figured i had better clean up under there and make room for some more unwanted concepts !!!!! Between arguments that is .

Trouble with having a clear up is the fact it brings back memories of long ago happenings .
Club champion in ‘64, BRITISH CHAMPION IN ‘66.
Found a plastic box full of old trophies wrapped in 1980’s newspaper—- means they were packed before we moved into the MILL HOUSE . [1982]
Won the ELIZABETH TROPHY. 1961 —— Jesus wept —thats 60 feckin years ago. Trophy was given by JIMMY JAMES one of the original founders of the LMBRC— he raced inboards and outboards .
in those halcyon days of racing we had “inter club races “—- COTSWOLD CLUB——SOUTH STAFFS [CHASEWATER] —LANCASHIRE —LOWESTOFT AND OULTON BROAD . TO EVEN BE SELECTED TO RACE FOR THE CLUB WAS AN HONOUR .
CAME ACROSS A FEW THOSE —- taking them all up to my granddaughter CASEY. [yes she was named after Velden]. Saves the indignity of a car boot sale .

Made this last year — but it got left out in the rai and was pitted badly —-spent the afternoon dismantling and repolishing—- it now looks a bit more respectable.
