Thats the boat Renato and I ran in the Paris Six Hours in 1970.
Mine was one of the first 17’ —— Don Ross and I campaigned it all over Europe, winning just about everything we ran in!
Dont doubt Fujimo has a piccie of it somewhere in his archives.
Rossi and Wilson 1970 Chasewater 500 mile race if Fujimo can`t come up with something you may have to make do with this.

Was no contest really——- We had the best boat/ motor combo in Europe. Carlo and Enrico were coming to the end of their racing careers———Rossi and me were “INVINCIBLE “!

Jackie. I just bought a ticket to the P1 race tomorrow. I just can't resist seeing a race at the Stadium. I will let you know how it turns out.

Nope——-Bob, that’s the 16’ sprint that was only 15 1/2’ ——- fast —-furious, —- flighty, disliked any kind of wind and anything other than a mill pond.

Thanks for the offer Phill——— but I don’t do boatjumbles any more.
Beaulieu is one of the biggest in this country———lots of people and junk that everyone’s trying to get rid of. Everything, from an anchor to tie on your leg before you jump into the lake——- to a WW11 submarine that’s lying in 60’ of water two miles off Gibraltar.
I have some family commitments on Sunday————and a new dog to introduce to Murphy who has a tendency to piss canines right off ! Just hoping they become instant bosom buddies or it could be an uphill struggle. So no, I won’t be doing the Beaulieu Boat Jumble.

Jackie. I bought my ticket for the "cheap seats". Not particularly interested in the PWC races. Just want to see a proper boat race down there again. I don't think I have been inside the Stadium since 1976.

Thats the one William——- 22 was always my number at the LMBRC—— UIM never ever handed out race numbers for international events———— was always the host club that gave them out.

Jackie. I just returned from the Marine Stadium. When I left the score was Dolphins 2, P1 0. By 3:30 they had made 2 attempts to get started ,both aborted by dolphin sightings. They have a Robinson helicopter flying over the site and if they see any "marine mammals", anything with a propeller is shut down. Feel bad for the organizers. Met some of the Wilson clan. Very nice folks. I like the way your grandson has those boats rigged. Would have liked to see them actually get on plane.
