In the colour pic with Don driving the throttle/shift is outside, I believe these were the very early Magnums.
The black & white pic above the throttle/shifter is inside the cockpit.
Looks like the Magnum has a 1968 Merc 1250, the Marauder has a 1969 Merc 1250.

...the mode of transportation in south florida for "all" kids, was the bicycle. things were different back then. a lot less people. a lot less traffic. a lot more empty space and undeveloped. very safe, for the most part. jeff soffer used to "hang" around the shops there too, on his bike, riding all over the place, from his home in turnberry isles. he talked like a snob from the get-go. tres martin was a kid that hung around too, as soon as he got his learners permit. lots of kids would wander by, not to steal or anything, just to learn what they could.

Three or four years ago, I was on vacation in South Florida. And a lady friend and I enjoyed a sunset concert at the bandshell. It was relaxing on the sand beach, safe and good music, we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere.
