Had an almost uninterrupted day on CCBB. Fitted the windshield and the pair of acetylene lamps —- done the fuel tank and the pair of rear acetylene’s——- forgotten how long it takes to fernagle four lamps. Piccy over the weekend [if i strike lucky]—- Bloody Thursday again tomorrow—- seems like its an every other day occurrence—— damned helter skelter of life is now getting up a head of steam .
A week Sunday and i will have made the big nine oh. Damn, i will soon be as old as Gene !!!!!!!

Another day -another dollar . Same old crap, just a different day. Prime ministers come and prime ministers go. Had to smile to myself this morning——- would appear that worlds number one tennis player is taking the Australian government to court for not letting him play in that country ?????? WTF is going on ???? Dickhead knew the rules before he left home — get vaccinated , or dont bother turning up. But no — he thinks he is above the laws of the land —- he is number one in the world !!!!!!!! Tough titty sunshine—-as my sainted mother used to say “ get on with your knitting “.!!!!!!
Damn— but, she was a wise old biddy after all !!!!!!!

Just a quickie to prove I’m not bullish-ting you —- 8 days to go before its supposed to be ready for the guy to collect . He wants to present it as a family heirloom to be passed down to future generations .
Answer was —“because its timeless”. Well if im totally honest , he’s not far wrong.

Exhausts have never been a favourite of mine —trying to do a six into one that’s looks like it belongs —this is one from the scrap bin from an earlier “gone wrong”. I will get there one way or another .

Yes —they took the lead from Boris who has also announced most covid restrictions will be lifted . I haven’t come across ___-“Mass-formative Psychosis” before . No he shouldn’t have been sent to any camp—- just a kicked arse, and sent back to Serbia. Which is what happened as i understand it.
i dont have any axe to grind —- i fight with my daughter and son in law every Friday—- neither have had a single vaccination— i have had all three and will have a fourth when necessary. I use common sense at all times . [my own version]. I have been known to have got it wrong—— last time was 1980 over the introduction of the safety cell. Five will get you ten Novak will never get back into Australia again though.

Five kids were relatively easy to bring up. Our philosophy on life was simple —- we live our life and let the kids fit in —- we never built our lives around the kids . It worked out pretty well. None of the kids were like each other . Each did their own thing and created their own “character “. Eldest daughter Sandra became a nurse and reached heights in nursing——- Mark went racing and shaped his career around race boats —both circuit and offshore.
Boo became a school teacher —- raised three kids and six grandkids [up to now] ‘ Kim is the quiet one —raised three boys and does her own thing.
Sam is the youngest —has always been a pain in the arse —- went boat racing at 12 years old — think that was the start of the troubles . Was a Genius with figures —- runs her own air freight company out of Heathrow. Wont be led or druv!!!!!!! She and i Usually manage to have a couple of major fall outs a year —- but they dont last long. We are very different, even though she is out of my loins . I cant begin to think who she takes after !!!!!!!!!!

SATURDAY—- weekend or week beginning????? I have a tight schedule to follow — plus i have to finish CCBB. Thats the only problem when you take on a commission with a finishing date .
Dont know if any of you remember the Lake x tower i made some years back, well i sent it to the USA via Hermes and FedEx . Recipient never received it . This was the 3rd November- here we are three months later —— nobody knows anything—-i tried from this end . NOTHING. No explanations — no redress —— its in cyber space somewhere . Trouble is , i dont have another to replace it with.
Not often they lose a parcel—- and i have known one to take two months to deliver . But i think this one has just “BEEN LOST”. Short of insuring and tracking, which adds enormously to the delivery. Charges , i dont know what else i could have done .
Turned a tad colder —- but nothing like the minus ten with 12 inches of snow the clever forecasters predicted .
Have to sit down and write a sensible response to the folk who turn up at my birthday bash . Thought i would just ad-lib like i usually do when asked to do a speech . But i was reminded there are children and girls present so would be better off with a little preparation .
Be glad when its all over and folk will leave me be for the next ten years..
