Tricks that old racers get up to after retirement

I have a cousin who caught Covid19 from his kid and has also gotten 1st,2nd dose and booster jabs. No problems or symptoms. No sympathy for anyone who thinks this is a hoax, conspiracy or lab experiment while they lay in a hospital on a respirator. I like how India and China were quick to point out they were not to blame for Omicron.

The one thing that really stands out for me is that I wore a mask everywhere I went indoors for the past year. It's also the FIRST year in my entire life when I have NOT had a cold or sore throat!! I will "mask up" every winter (October thru April) for the rest of my life Covid or not! Family, friends included.

The one positive note that I have found about those volunteering to wear a mask, is that I know who the brainwashed morons are, without ever having to talk to them!. By the way, I never wear a mask, indoors, big stores, large crowds, etc. Not so much as a sniffle. Pure blood, also.

I have had both Moderna shots plus the booster. I still wear a mask whenever I am in public. Does that make me a coward or a moron? I don't think so. I am a 68 year old that values what time I have left. My brother did not get the vaccine and did not wear a mask in public. I buried him last January as a result of covid. Regardless if you are on board with wearing a mask or not, I don't think your comments are appropriate for this website or this thread. I am sure many others on here will agree...

BOB —its hard to decide what is appropriate and not— on the old farts tricks site ——. I like to think we can discuss anything we like without fear or favour . Lasse and i dont agree on a number of issues —— doesn’t make him a bigger dingleberry than he always was , but i wont fall out with him .
I am often told that i cant be right all the time [why cant i]. My youngest daughter and her husband have refused to be vaccinated ———- i have tried everything , being nice, being nasty and even downright obnoxious , all to no avail. She is 55 for crying out loud —— last time i put her over my knee and slippered her Asse she was 18 . In the main she has behaved herself ever since , so i have not gone down the chastisement route —— but, the bottom line is —- she has no belief at all in the covid 19 immunisation process . I have tried every line of reasoning i know , but it hasn’t worked .
Now thats just in my immediate family ——-what hope is there’s for the rest of us ???????

I am like you, i have had all three shots and a flu jab . I made up my own mind, stuck by my decision . Do i have doubts ——- bet you’re sweet hippy i do. It’s a commercial world we live in —- pharmaceuticals will do anything for money —- they are totally without morals —- yet millions of us have entrusted them with our lives ————-any company that can market a two cent product for a thousand dollars a pop cannot be all that stupid ———-simply corrupt.
