Bad bad day—— i had the left ear “hoovered “ today —- second time in a month. Girl paramedic who had been doing this job for forty years reckons its the worst case of earole blockage in her whole career,
She asked how long this been going on [good name for a song] so i told here ———74 years !!!!!!!!!!
First session was 90 minutes , she managed to shift a goodly chunk before i threw in the towel. This time she called the ear surgeon who spent just sixty minutes as he removed a pisspot full of ancient gunge . Afraid i had to cry enough with still more to shift..
Tomorrow i receive the latest all singing and dancing hearing aid !!!!!! How’bout that —- i have to pass 91 before i get a half decent deaf -aid. !!!!!!!!!
Afraid it has curtailed production just a tad——normal service should be resumed next week —or whenever i get the balance back and stop falling about like a circus clown.

Ear blower - JW.........get yourself a Eustachi. Basically a battery powered blower for your eustation tubes. Plug one nostril and blow in the other. It expands the tubes like a party favor and keeps your ears clear. Kinda like Merc carb bowl slosh bleeder hoses. Great for clearing your ears after an airline flight. beats chewing gum?

"SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — It could cost California more than $800 billion to compensate Black residents for generations of over-policing, disproportionate incarceration and housing discrimination, economists have told a state panel considering reparations.

The preliminary estimate is more than 2.5 times California's $300 billion annual budget, and does not include a recommended $1 million per older Black resident for health disparities that have shortened their average life span. Nor does the figure count compensating people for property unjustly taken by the government or devaluing Black businesses, two other harms the task force says the state perpetuated."

Todays view from the kitchen window . This year we have had three months of rain . Wet and windy weather with nothing any better forecast for the rest of April.

Cannot remember any year in my whole life where we have not had a single sunshiny day for the whole of JANUARY-FEBRUARY and MARCH.
Positive side is the fact the blossoms are showing —crocus and daffodils have been and gone —- Tulips are up next and spring has Sprung.
