Hmmmm. I like the sit down and long deck. Is it a converted I/O with the closed transom? Is the motor 25" or 20"? Is it a pad or straight 24 degree V? Thanks.

25" motor, always an O/B, Jerry's old boat!.... 24" platform on those boats were standard back then! Nice package for the price!

Thanks, Do they have a tiny cabin underneath or just a flat floor? That looks like a lot of setback for a 3L motor

Not sure about this one,but they do make them with bench seats and bunk and can be retrofitted by Progression boats, have seen it done. They open up center of dash, make a step down and add seats.Very nice set up either way.

The newer 24 is different from the older 24's, I do not think that boat can be converted. The dash is very different. You will need a lot of setback to that thing to hang. I know this boat very well and jerry knew what he was doing. He was about the only one who could hang with me in the ruff water.

Just for clarification, yes this deck can be converted for cabin style entry,if anyone is looking to do that.

Interesting. Not worth converting it. On a closed transom like this one, without a hydraulic jack plate I believe you need 20" of setback just to tilt the motor up without pinching anything. I guess Progression went to the mini splash well notch on the 22s to eliminate that issue. Should have done that to the 24 Low Deck IMO. I really prefer the LD look. Great lines on this boat. Could you run a 20" motor if you had say a 4" hydraulic jackplate off the existing bracket, or do you need the leverage of the 25" leg to carry the bow properly in rougher water?
