Splash well is back in and have to put one layer of glass on it and its done . will get up some pics when I makes some decent progress
When I was removing the core in mine I ran into the same situation around the driver/passenger footwell area....good, virgin, well-bonded core outside of the floor register. Below the floor though was a complete trainwreck. Once I cut a few test areas around the floor register, within 12hrs water began seeping through the inner laminate in the pad area....so it was really really wet.

I almost didn't cut out the bulkhead and check the bow...but I'm damn sure glad I did because this is what I found.

I don't know how mine ended up with good core aft of the footwell bulkhead, and completely rotten forward, but after I cut out the airbox and inner skin on both sides, I removed the entire bow core with a 4" putty knife and a shopvac.

I've never seen so many of basically the same boats built so many different ways. I don't think I've ever seen two Streams that build wise looked the same !

My stream now is totally opposite of the last one, when the core is removed normally the bottom is kinda flexible, this one is rather solid. Took me a hour to do a 12"x14" section, going to be a long spring.

OK so have the pad cleaned out and started grinding out all the old glass from the old floors and all the extra mess, found carpet and tape under 3/8" of glass , looks like a lot of grinding to go .
