Yesterday was the coldest day we have had all year it was 18 in the morning and was 45 at lunch....this morning it is 35 and going to 55 by the end of the day.....It snows here once every 10 years and does not stay on the ground for more than 2 days....The gulf coast is 30 miles one way and 5 major fresh water bodies of water 60-80 miles the other so boating is done pretty much year round..... For example the first high school bass tournament was held December 14 and they had 262 teams in that tournament...

I am applying for your outboard motor mechanic job. I am 61, over weight , diabetic , so I tend to take long lunch breaks, I am late at least once a week and need to leave early quite a bit due to personel issues , my work vehicle breaks down allot, I smoke so I need to take frequent smoke breaks. I need to have my cell phone on and have many calls daily. I require LOUD ( I am a bit hard of hearing ) hard rock music playing at my work place. I need toilet facilities close to my work site as I have irritable bowel sendrome..I can negociate salary at time of interview . I know these "SMALL" requirements I have will be OK with you as you are very tolerant employer , we will discuss these requirements and salary at the interview ...

    Thanks for your consideration,
    Jay Smith

Jay, I'm looking to start a dealership up here in PA. You're hired. Just what I've been looking for. Someone who I can relate to with IBS and listen to some good music.

There is a help wanted section of the forum as well, doesnt get a lot of traffic but maybe post in there

I cant help but think of this when I read this thread:

The Texas Department of Employment, Division of Labor Standards claimed a small boatyard owner was not paying proper wages to his help and sent an agent out to investigate him.

GOVT AGENT: I need a list of your employees and how much you pay them.

BOATYARD OWNER: Well, there's my hired guy who's been with me for 3 years. He works an 8 hour day and I pay him $800 a week plus overtime at time and a half.

Then there's the mentally challenged guy. He works about 18 hours every day and does about 90% of all the work around here. He makes about $100 per week, and I buy him a bottle of bourbon every Saturday night so he can cope with life. He also sleeps with my wife occasionally.

GOVT AGENT: That's the guy I want to talk to - the mentally challenged one.

BOATYARD OWNER: That would be me.
