Yup!!! your trany is an E4OD....
and the RV stall converter was a good choice. It gets the tork to the tires where you want it. I will need to back mine off to 60 HP when towing. I to my 5th wheel with my boat behind(13000 pounds) And the EGT will get to high if I crank her up.
So..... You have a turbo on you powerstroke Thats where your getting all that power The supplier that set me up with all my goodies told me they set up a guys Ford. He doesnt tow, he just wants to have the baddest truck on the road. The put a $2000.00 turbo on it and all kinds of other goodies and nothing can touch it on the street.
There is a guy in town here with one like mine, only two years older(2000 model) He has been messing with his since he got it. He is running high 12's at the strip and doesnt have propane yet.

I have heard nothing but bad about the old 6.5 GM diesel. It is gutless too. Go 454 if you have to have a GM, but a diesel will pull that weight much better and cheaper. I like the ford myself, and have one too. Not the best ride, but it does the job. Pops has a 2001 F250 PSD and he says the new model rides way better. The Cummins is a great motor and gets a hair better mpg as it is smaller. I'm told the PSD pulls a little better with big 5th wheels. Not knowing about the new GM yet.
I would recommend you try to get a new direct injection turbo diesel if you can swing it. That is the PSD from '95 up and the new Duromax. Not sure what year Cummins went to it. Much smoother, better mpg & power, and you can chip it."As government expands, liberty contracts." -Ronald Reagan

from my experiance at work. we have all ford's and the early to mid 90's tranny's suck pullin weight. but we did get a2001 f-450 that rides alot better then the older 350's weve got,no problems with the tranny yet either. and btw,bob that's sick, they need a shoehorn to get the tailgate out of that crack. just bend one of them heffers over and you'd cure the biggest crackhead!

BDD you got that right
But they must not have all of their weight on the tail gate. Cause the Ford tail gates that I see come in here on the farm trucks are all bent in half. They always bitch about the cheap tail gates.

Who are you calling a "fat sack"?
The wheelies aren't too bad.... Every once in a while you can smell some flesh start to burn though.... you gotta be careful that those rolls don't rub on the back tire.........
You know what they say........
Heat in the winter.... Shade in the summer.
