What energy drinks do you guys drink?
I'm fixing to get toned up again (p90X and insanity hybrid workouts) and was wondering what you guys drink. I want to drink something healthy but something thats going to give me that extra punch. I've done the shakeology drink for a while but was wondering if there is anything else out there thats worth a flip other than cocaine (kidding)

HP, given the bad rap lately on the caffine ladened energy drinks I sometimes wonder if the coke is not better for ya.
There are so friggin' many different ones these days, I have not tried to count them.
I don't drink them much but if I do it's a plain ol' redbull or the 5 hour energy shots.
also, I think I'll wait till new years resolution again this year to tone up,, kinda like the last few years, with a touch of procrastination for good measure.Russ Benton

BTW be careful of over working yourself with the P90x. I read where one guy over did it and it really screwed up his liver.
When I use to bike ride, the night before the ride we would carb up on pasta, tuna casserole, etc... Eating healthy is better than supplements IMO. I use to ride about 120 miles a week on an ATB in the dirt, not pavement.

with Paul, eating healthy is better than supplements along with drinking plenty of plain water. I would also stay away from all types of simple sugar foods. Drinking energy type drinks on regular bases will not be a good thing
BTW, you would be very surprise how terrible you feel, 0 energy if you are not properly hydrated.

No, that's Action Dave and Alex
believe it or not. Besides the high cost, 4 or 5 years ago when I started hearing about kids in their teens and early 20s getting kidney stones I cut WAY back on energy drinks. I bought two 12 packs of the Monster Zero Ultra (white can) that were on sale over a month ago and I still have 10 left. I also cut out any caffeine after 2pm, I sleep much more soundly and feel better through the day. I may be fat, but I ran circles around my buddy unloading everything from the moving truck last weekend, and that was AFTER waking up at 5am with 4 hours sleep and driving until 6pm.
Best thing I've found is black coffee brewed the night before, then reheated. Almost like tar going down but still tastes better than redbull.> Stainless steel Merc cowling plates - $110 shipped TYD - LINK <

Zero on the energy drinks here. Plain water, run everyday 2 to 3 miles. Coffee in the morning and of course Johnnie Walker occasionally.

That was my peak. I really was into it. I bought a fairly light bike and spent half of what it was worth on Titanium and light weight goodies and dropped a few more pounds. I had to buy large legged blue jeans because my others were too tight. I need to get my ass back on it and ride. Need another set of front shocks though...
That's rolling. Never got near that but then a ATB is a lot different. And I use to ride off road the same reason why I ride dirt bikes: too many idiots on the road!
