225 h.o. to a 250 h.o. wiring harness

Hi, Does anyone know if a 2007 225h.o. wiring harness will work with a 2010 250h.o ? Also what is the actual power difference between the two motors? Thanks in advance.

If you are talking about the engine wiring harness, it will not work, the injectors and the ignition system are different. The 250HO is a different cylinder block, 3.4L.

If you mean the boat wiring harness from the keyswitch to the engine, yep, that is the same.

No comparison in power, the 250 has much more torque and hp and a bigger displacement.
