You shouldn't have any problems if you pay attention to the gaskets and be sure they're correct for the tuner plate(adapter)

I run a Bridgeport on a stock 200 adapter, tuner, and lined can midsection with no problems. Purrs like a kitty at idle, and screams like hell in command. It was a direct swap, other than adding a 260 cowl, which cleared up the mismatched passages because of the pan and gaskets.

i do have a bridgeport cowl also, so everything should bolt up. does the 175 and 200 have the same tuner?

Tuners make such a little difference in performance, it won't really matter. If your tuner broke off completely, you would never likely know it, other than the rattling sound in your midsection.

The exhaust ports in the powerhead base are larger than the exhaust outlets in the consumer-grade mid adapter. It's probably worthwhile to take a grinder to the adapter and open up the top-side edge of the opening to match it to the shape of the powerhead passage. I didn't bother to do mine, so there's a small "step" at the mis-matched opening.

and your still pushing that vegas 95 cool, i wonder if a 200 tuner on a bp would help it down low, or on a bigger hull,. :s i have a bp adapter, tuner, the guy i bought it off said it was for the bridgeport and modified to point the gasses toward the bottom of the mid insted of the back :s, it has a bell shape to it, does that sound right, and will it bolt to the fishing mid :s sorry for all the newbie questions

I ran 95 ONCE... I sold the magical prop that ran 90's, and have never found another to get the job done. Everything else stops at 89.

If you want help down low, put a small prop on it and let it eat.
