Do you fill them with epoxy after bolts are torqued?

I jam paper in there then finish off with RTV ( not silicone crap) to hold it in
Should anything go wrong the engine can eat all that.

Just a heads up I used to use RTV around my intake stuffers but ethanol fuel was turning it to goo and when I pulled my engine apart I found that crap all over.

Easiest way to fill the main counterbores is shove shop towels in them and then fill the last 1/2" with A/B putty, or some kind of stick epoxy.

( and the bores are pointing at the crank, loopers are bad for that)
I think you may have misunderstood me a little in what I was saying is that the ex port timing has definitely been raised but I can't accurately measure port height from the deck surface(not that it's ever an acurate measurement anyway)since the deck height has been altered.

.078s were very rich in my ported motor, but it was 3.0 and stock crankcase.
