Do you have speakers on your computer? Listen to it slamming off it at 1:30ish . If it was a factory race engine like the opti it would probably not have that problem.

All I know after watching that is both the Opti and the Etec suck

Both boats are owned by Kieth Whittle. There are no boxes in the world with "bumped" limiters in fact all of the worked boxes turn more then low 7s. BTW the handful out there that are done have NO limiter. I'd like to know who your experts are.

They are not that bad if you can find a dealer to cut you a break. No more than a custom ecu set up for a gas toilet 2.5.

Opti is a bad azz motor, rude is a bad azz motor. Who cares about the r's? It's the boat's top speed at the end of the track that sets the record.

I was competing at this event. The safety cover is spot on, just because they weren't there in 2 seconds doesn't mean they weren't on their way! There were several rescue boats with paramedics and divers lining the course. Keith is a great guy and I'm glad he's ok.

search 'Keith Whittle Crash' on YouTube, the video is under some ownership rights now I think so keeps disappearing and reappearing.
