Straight skeg vs swept skeg on sportmaster

In a single engine application is there a marked advantage to using a swept skeg vs a straight skeg other than the built in torque tab? That can be epoxied on the straight skeg anyway.

More skeg the better but swept gives the tab a bit more leverage.

I know guys who have been 127+ with a strait skeg and a tab on it.

I'm using a 3.0L straight skeg sporty with a Bob's add-on tab on a 21' Checkmate. The tab really helped the handling. I run the engine high, often 1"-2" above the pad. It seems to work well but I've also wondered if I'm missing anything by not having a swept back skeg?
