Lite weight cowling for 2001 opti

Is there a top lite weight cowling that will fit a 2001 225 Opti? The factory original cowlings weigh a ton.

Just get a newer model cowl. Any newer opti cowl is less than 1/2 the weight.

Yep, I have a 2001 opti myself and took the heavy cowl off in favor of a 04 cowling that I had. May be a little louder with it, but it is way lighter.

There are carbon fiber cowls available too. Fairly expensive though.
