Pulled the aluminum grommet off the top of the seat. On the 22' the ski pole goes through the top of the rear seat. They said I couldn't scare them. After about 4-5 hard turns all three bailed off the tube.
http://youtu.be/uwhNgO4L9Zk - Couldn't sling him around cause he's too light but at 45-50 he started flying!!! Kids, he loved it

Remember the "Hurricane" that hit the Midwest a few years ago? We had sustained winds over 70mph for a few hours. Any way bunch of houseboats tore lose from there Buoys or in my case the buoy chain broke and houseboats were scattered all over the shoreline. I went to the lake and pulled my old houseboat out of a cove and back to a different buoy. I helped pull a few boats of the rocks with my old Polaris SL 750. There was one Gibson stuck bad in the back of the same cove as my boat. A guy had a nice family boat with a ski pole, he pulled from the ski pole and it ended up breaking loose and it tore a slot all the way to the transom It was ugly. I'm not sure what they used to finally pull that one out.

Had a tube called a delta wing and that thing would go airborne like yours. It went up easy but beat the crap out of you on return down would dive. I was always scared of the ski pole on the Baja it just went through a circle in 1/2 inch plywood and would hook to rear transom ring. Great video.

Al still sells them. I think his ski poles are a hardened or heat treated aluminum. We have bent a few. lol
My buddy made one out of schedule 40 stainless. It bent the first day.
Stay with the Aluminum.

Al sent me a note. It's designed for a (1) skier not 3 teenagers on a tube being slung around really hard. Luckily we were able to put it in the conduit bender and straighten it out. We are going to press a 12" shunt into the area that was bent past the yield point for extra security.
