ID:	489996This is my 85 Honcho. Just bought it. Not a stress crack on it anywhere. I am putting a Monty built, X front half 16" mid V8 on it. Should be a wild ride

Anyone know much about a full tunnel bass boat built by Tennessee Valley Fiberglass? I found one locally, says "Challenger" on gunwale, 17' has slight pickle fork bow like a Honcho not that dramatic though. I'll post some pix in a little while. I searched all over the web and haven't found anything other than a YT video of a guy that has/had one and he's in Wichita Ks also...haven't been able to get ahold of him though.

This is a Laser 18' LTV I picked this past summer. Boat was purchased as a drag boat new in 1985. It was owned by John Shealy in South Carolina. Was raced 15 years and put in the barn. Boat is solid and gel just needs a good detail. This boat is gonna fish for the first time since new.

I've got the same year with a closed deck.

My understanding is that they were a fast hull. I had a STV LTV a while back with a 260. I was looking for a Hydrostream Varmit which is a Vegas bottom with a bass boat deck. Came across this Laser and decided its time to fish some. This is a low dollar build. Its gonna be slow. Im just trying to get out of the house and on the water. Ray

This is a low dollar build also, but I just couldn't see myself being satisfied with the 150 I picked up for her. So after a 22+ hour road trip here is the engine she's getting lol.

anybody know what the allison XTS 17 or 18 from the late 70's were like? looking at a seriously underpowered one. has a 50 merc big foot on it. nice pontoon boat motor... one more question. JD power specs for boats. is the weight lsted hull only, or hull with standard engine? cuz this boat is listed as 625 or 675 lbs. i know allie's are light, but if that is with 300 lbs of outboard it is lighter than my yamaha XS 1100 waverunner!
