I need to order some of it myself just to clean up a few areas where I've cut it open to get to wiring. I'll probably get some with my next McMasters order near the end of February.

Don't know about Saturday or Sunday for sure, but tomorrow's supposed to be sunny but cold, Burrrrrrr 45-49, Saturday's supposed to be mostly sunny and 62, Sunday's supposed to be mostly cloudy and 68. The way it works around here is it's usually 5 degrees colder that what they post. Lows for tonight may be in the 20's, tomorrow in the 30's and lows for Sat & Sunday night in the mid 40's. I just pulled up my local weather and this is what it says. So if it don't rain Sunday and it's not windy ya might be able to catch a fish or two, but temperature wise it's not looking so good. This is the coldest I can remember it being for an extended period in years.

On The Pan, There Should Be Two...One On Each Side...Rectangular Openings. You Should Be Able To Run The Nylon Mesh Through Those...I Have A Old Formula Cowl And That's How We Ran The Rigging To The Motor...

Varmit, your right adout that. So many lines/cables to come out a 2 3/8 hole off the boat side. I was thinking about hole sawing the other side to give the cables some relief. I did order the covers that mike suggested , should be in anyday now. Its been to cold to work on the boat. When got up this morning it was 18 degrees. Has anyone ever used the billet benzel covers? In the pictures that they show it says that they gone on the back side of the gauge , but was thinking are they 2 piece?

I guess I'm going to go out today and hunt down a motor lifter for my V6 to hook my cherry picker to so I can get my jackplate changed out. I know of a couple of places Imay be able to find one. Hopefully I won't have to order the thing.

Allyda , good luck with your jackplate change out. What's the weather there now? Here in ladson, sc is about 30 degrees real deal and freezing rain the power lines are iceing up. I am hoping the weather this weekend is better than the weeks past so I can get started back on the shadow.I got a lot of stuff coming in ups hopefully it will here by Friday. Where is everyone that helped start this thread?

Seems like they're on vacation, lol! I couldn't find an engine lifter. I did buy a harmonic balancer (the two & 3 way kind) puller though and figured I'd try and make one out of that. If it won't work no problem as I needed one anyway. I might have to improvise with 3 or 4 small pieces of chain to lift and hold my motor while I change out the Jackplate.

As far as the weather it was partly cloudy and 73 this afternoon -perfect fishin weather. However a cold front is commin through tonight to ruin it for the next three or 4 days at least. I need to get started changing out my jackplate though if I want to be finished in time to make some planned events coming up. I got my new quick drain valves for my livewells too today -from a Skeeter dealer, lol. Turns out the same ones that are in my Shadow are the same used in Skeeters. They sure were expensive though, 27 bucks for each plastic valve. I still have other minor stuff to do yet too like my new battery boxes, and finish my wet sanding/buffing/polishing. I just hope I can get it all done by the time I need to take her out again.

How much are they at Bobs? My local marine dealer wanted an arm and a leg to order one.
