If it's a bunk trailer then none of the rollers should be touching the hull...

I would think that if the keel rollers were in front of the bunks you might want to drop the bunks to they just touch. Watch that the hull clears the fenders! Just my .02 Gary

The rollers need to be close to the hull but not touching. They put stress on the glass in the area they touch while going down the road and will eventually cause cracking, especially along the keel. The only thing the rollers are there for is so the keel doesn't smack the crossmember when pulling the boat on/off the trailer at a steep angle.

You a correct--- Thats why I strap down my boats both FRONT and rear. The roads I travel in northern Maine are BAD! The paved are worse than most gravel roads. Gary

I wouldn't sweat it. Rollers probably touch when loading in the water, until the bunks take over.

Thats my take on it anyway. Think here a bit! When retrieving a boat launch. Trailer at what, 30° down angle, boat level. So the front rollers hit first, center the boat, then when yanked out, its sitting on the bunks and they hold the boat under the stringers, where the weight is supposed to be. On a full roller trailer, a diff story. My old heavy 26 footer trailer, had a good couple DOZEN or more rollers..and a PITA...(gotta pic the house puter) Also. nice "Day cruiser" ya got there too, by the way!..what boat, power and outdrive is it?)

Those Rollers , are only there to keep the keel from hitting the trailer durring loading on steep ramps . They only need to be higher then the cross members , of the trailer .
