being from "Joysie" I am not sure if you know the origin of the term "Cracker". from what I understand there are 2 derivitives , first, the leader of cattle herding operations who was the one "cracking the whip" to steer the cattle was known as the "Cracker". second is anyone born and raised in Florida is known as a "Florida Cracker". as for the other,,, FM. fun out

A buddy of mine bought a Norton motorcycle the clutch was wet with oil so he being a touch red around the neck set the oven on 275 and put the clutch in the oven well he ran out of pbr's so he walked up to the local watering hole where he began to sip a few and forgot about the clutch in the oven for 2 hours. He remembers and heads back to the apartment only to find the fire department there he smoked the whole building empty and got evicted and sued.

The cheapest easiest way to hold a lower unit. Two pieces of 2x4 screwed to a bench, cut out notches for the water pump, drill in some allthread with a wingnut and your good to go!Click image for larger version.

Remote oil tank tray fell apart on me.... Had to wait for the new aluminum one to arrive from Eddie Marine, but wanted to go boating. Solution:

Dish rack, available for $3.49 at your local Wally World.

No good things to post pics of lately, but a customer brought a boat in for an oil change because he is smart enough drain his own boat in the fall. Thinks he is saving money. Started it up on the hose about the same time water started coming out the exhaust it started pumping out the breather hoses and spraying down the flame arrestor. Guess he didn't save much money after all.

So I was a Redneck Master today. Customer pretty much gave me his late dad's American Eagle with a 260 Mercruser with the X dimension 2 1/2" higher than normal. Finally got it running yesterday after pulling the drive and doing all the long overdue maintenance. Runs great but won't shift when running, shift interupter sticks Cuz the transom cable is a bit stiff. So I tried doing a version of the seized steering cable thing. Shifts like a dream now. Was not into doing a transom shift cable.
