    Maybe I am just stating the obvious (a habit of mine) but isn't that a launch only extension to get that high pontoon deep enough to float off? Heck, I started my trailer towing life towing my 14-1/2 foot Glen-L Tuffy behind my 40 hp '65 VW Bug.
