    Custom Lightweight Shifters

Hey guys. I started to make these as there are fewer and fewer available to us.
This is my hobby not my business.

They are available for shipping. Shipping costs are about $25.00 from me to Alabama, for example.

I have made floor mounts and side mounts.
They are universal and fit any cable with a 3/8 diameter sleeve.
They DO NOT use the plastic lug (trunion) to position them.

    Hope you like them!!!

$150.00 each for universal floor or custom side mount + shipping and Paypal fees.

Just to show you how the side mounts are installed.

Floor mounts are not supplied with mounting holes. You can drill them to suit yout mounting location.

Rick, these work by adjustable friction plate. You can adjust it to be so tight you need 3 men and a small boy to move the lever.
If you are worried about it falling out of gear. that would only happen if you adjusted it to loose.

I have quite a few of them in T-boats here, and not one has ever slipped out of gear.
I did make a design with a detent (and can still make them) but it was redundant with the friction disc.

    Thanks for looking!!

    Thank you very much, Loop!!!
I have changed the design of the handle a bit to make it slightly lighter. I am water jet cutting the main shape now out of 3/8" 6061 instead of machining it from 1/2". Not much of a weight loss but every bit counts!!

Sorry for having fun on the water guys!!

    As for the shifters:
New Smyrna Craig, I should have yours shipped on Tuesday/Wednesday this week. It's ready to go!!

Rkmirage, let me know if I can help in any way. I have floor mounts. A lot of the guys up here just glass in a piece of marine ply and mount it right to that. Simple and easy. But a nice console in your Mirage could have more than one purpose!!
