    I believe in 2002 is when they went from the laser style ECU to the more advanced Motorola unit with smartcraft, etc. Older ECUs will not work.

    I haven't really got it all dialed in like my old boat. I'm used to driving vees and they are a lot different from the catarmaran style hull. I don't know the # on the ecu box ill have to check.

    im pretty sure all they did was go to cdm's style if thats what ya mean,and all then he will have to do is switch to switch boxes.coils and stator,which he need a light fly wheel anyhow

    yeah I used to have 1980 hydrostream v-king the tunnel hull is a lot more forgiving and a lot easier to drive but sucks to drive in rough waters!

    ET works best on mine. Choppers seem to work better than cleavers, but mine is heavy and needs the bowlift.
