deleting oil injection on my 97 225 pro max
I am getting a steady alarm sounding as soon as i start my motor, the motor seems to be getting oil from injection system but the alarm still worries me, i have been told that it is the signal box itself and not my oil pump, I would like to delete my oil injection, can anyone give me their input on doing this?

Follow this link for instructions including pictures. It starts at post #25, and continues on to the next page. Doesn't get any easier than this....

Correct...
The oil alarm should produce a fast "beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep..." if there's an oil injection issue...
A constant bEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEp is overheat, or a bad oil alarm module, which is quite common.
The oil module will be completely removed anyway when you switch over to pre-mix.'89 Hydrostream Vegas XT, '90 Merc 2.4 Bridgeport PCU EFI
