New Evinrude E-TEC's on the way

    Just saw this at www.etecownersgroup.com

We are back strong and the 2014 program year looks to be a good one.

We have some new product to talk about.

First is a new Graphite Series. This new color really stands out.
    They are being offered in the 15HO hp, 150HO, 200HO, 225HO, 250HO and the 300hp ETEC's.

Second is a Pontoon Series outboard.
Sizes being offered of the 90, 115, and 150hp E-TEC's.

Third is the new HO models

While the 135HO came out mid year this is the first full year of it in the lineup.
Biggest news in the HO lineup is the 90HO E-TEC. This is based off the V4 platform.

All decals in the E-TEC lineup has also been changed. Its really a fresh new look.

Things are looking good this year. BRP Outboard Division is now changed to BRP Marine Propulsion Systems Division. It has expanded its portfolio by offering a inboard jet propulsion system to boat OEM's.

Will update as info comes to hand.

    And the starboard starboard V-6
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

Why? They have V-6 engines already built for racing that will stomp anything out there but do to a crap economy they can not afford to launch the racing program. That means they also have engines ready for the 350hp range but do to a small market for them they have not done that either.

Boy, now that is a beautiful outboard engine. My hat's off to BRP...they make a beautiful, strong, efficient and just plain cool-looking TWO STROKE outboard. Not like these other pukes who cave at the drop of a prop blade and go right to four strokes "because it's easier". In addition, at least these engines LOOK LIKE OUTBOARDS, not the rounded spaceball crap that's out there now.

There was a dealer across from us this past February at the Madison Fishing Expo with the carbon series 250; it was a pretty sweet rig

They also chose the right fuel management system. Yamahas DI is/was iffy at best and that goat **** Merc went with is a hoot. Especially on a low hour motor that needs 3k worth of parts after the compressor pukes it's way through everything.

I was hoping to see offshore and 16" mid and New gear ratios. The 90ho is just return of the 90 ficht that was 1800cc v4 and the 135hp 2.6.

I've been waiting years for them to release a 90hp v-4. The 115 is a sweetheart and is way way smoother than both the Merc and Etec 3 cyl 90
