    I also have a 3" and had a 10" Slidemaster. They are built very well, I think R&R is the only company to have the tongue and groove design which goes a long way toward stopping the motor from moving around.

    I know a guy that used them on a 28 Skater w/ 300XSs - he loved them! I had a pair of 200XS on R&R 6" and thought they were great! And I adjusted them a half dozen times each with ease - no binding or "crabbing". I personally think R&R has the best manual jackplates on the market - though not the lightest by any means, they're heavy duty!

    I can vouch for that. They are really nice and mine were powdercoated and have done extremely well in the salt water.

    Just received a set of these jack plates,they exceeded my expectations and like everybody else said- nice and easy to people deal with and built in USA-hard to beleive now a days!

    how do I set the jack plate on my 19ft rajun Cajun bassboat it seems like the motor sits to low in the water on an idle the exaust ports are in water

    I think there are now a number of folks on the site running the R&R 3". How much would you say it weighs, just curious.
